FineVu. They were just outside of my range of vision. I caught plenty of motion clips in front of my car, but the smudges were left on the trunk, driver side door, and fender near the hood.

How do you keep it recording while your car is parked? I had a BlackVue in my previous car but you had to wire it to an external power source if you wanted it to record while the car is off.

I started a thread on it a few months ago, but basically, I routed the cable to the trunk and hardwired the power kit to a fuse that's always on.

Search under my threads and you'll find it. I also posted pics. You can also talk to the guys from BBMC.

First time for me, I was at a stop light by my house waiting to get on the freeway when a CHP officer pulls up next to me. I was rocking out to some Daft Punk when I saw him come up. He gave me a polite nod and thumbs up. I was pretty surprised and was expecting to get cited for no front plate. Luckily I also had the windows down not sure if he would have done the same after seeing my tint.

In any case that was a great way to kick off the weekend. I had just washed and waxed my car so it was rather glistening in the light. By the way I ended up not getting on the freeway just in case and hit sepulveda blvd. instead
