Not sure if there's a thread already, but here goes!

This has been happening for years, but most people don't mention it on forums. My car is mostly stock, but whenever I go out, people are always staring, jaw dropping, taking pictures, etc. I know the rest of you guys get this too.

Our cars aren't the best looking nor the most expensive (but I love it). It looks very close to a C class. I only decided to type this now because as of late, I've been getting so many stares at restaurants. People take pictures or walk backwards while staring lol. I just watch through the window while eating and makes me smile.

the only one staring at my car is me. if i didn't own one, i definitely would be staring at other peoples'.

+63, sometimes I'll get a look from a BMW guy, but that's about it. I think you get a lot of looks because your's is red (or maybe they're looking at you, I bet you're one of them handsome fellas, just look at all the girls draped on your car) LOL.

My black beauty blends in just fine, until I hit the loud pedal I'm sure it gets looks when I'm hammering it, but I'm too occupied to notice!

Someone recently left some smudges on my car (intentionally, me thinks) and when I was scanning my dashcam, I saw a bunch of motion captures where people were doing a double take or outright standing in front of my car to examine my car.

Good theory lol. I love black as well. I saw one a month back blasting past me on I 45 south. I'd figure the darker colors getting more attention because of the sleek lines. I see a lot of red C classes, and they look almost like mine. Or maybe because of my new Vorst diffuser.

Ive had a few C300s cut thru traffic to give me a thumbs up before buts thats it.

A few M5s and M6s downshift/ rev at me when passing by.

Everyone is mostly jaw dropping at the many exotics that flow thru on a daily basis especially in a big city like Chicago

I have people complimenting my car every day and some even ask for a ride as a joke. And of course cops always staring lol. Yesterday, a gas station attendant came out side and was saying "woooww. I love ur car. Sicck you have vorsteiner" among other things. Makes you feel good.

I forgot about police lol. I have no front plate, but police always stare at the car when they walk into an establishment that I parked in. 0 tickets so far *cross my fingers lol

Lots of nice cars in Toronto so a C63 isn't that special... that said since I put my rims on I've had about 4-5 people give me a thumbs up or 'nice car' comment. Since I work downtown (tall buildings to bounce the sound) I also get quite a few people looking over when I stomp on the gas.

Thank god we finally got a law where cops cant pull you over for no reason. I used to get pulled over 3 times a week. Was so annoying. But anyways. Love the attention people give

Yep, get a few looks. My wife calls young women insects and gave me a can of bug spray to keep them off.

The only people who acknowledge, compliment, or seem to recognize my C63 are teenagers, usually while filling up at the gas station. It's happened a handful of times (e.g. "nice car dude"). This is fine with me, since part of the reason I like it so much is its stealth factor. Strangely, though, I've gotten more compliments on it in the past year and a half than I got over three years on a 997 911. Maybe because it's a tad more "inside baseball" than the 911.

Multiply this by 10 if you have a matte finish! Almost every time I park somewhere public there are hand prints all over my car when I come out.

Never happend..I think once at a gas station...Most people in my city drive hondas and hyundais...or a mercedes from 1988 or a old *** 3 series with rims. No one knows what a C63 is..yet alone a AMG atleast where I live..Especially females...they hate my kind of car, they like guys who drive old 3 series who act like they make 500k a year ..but i'm sure alot of people think it's my dads car seeing i'm in my early 20s

As stock, I have had numerous thumbs up.. however as soon as I changed wheels and lowered the beast.. people noticed it much more! But man.. you have fine women hanging out with your beast.. hehehe

thank's for your feedback. they're the ADV 10's concave. not much of a concave wheel due to our car's high offset but its still sexy!

Wow, I'm surprised to read this...mine gets looks, compliments, discussions, etc frequently...along with many dirty looks/"I'm purposely ignoring your existence" from M3 guys. Ill toss the, a thumbs up first sometimes then a big smile comes or a discussion at a light about how they love the car. People at gas stations often stop me, people will give me a thumbs up while driving, roll down their window and ask what kind of car it is, what engine it has in it, etc. Getting my tires put in recently guys were taking pictures. Definitely get the teenage attn with video on their phones, etc.

ITs not that it's the nicest or most exotic car around. I think people just really appreciate it and enjoy the car a lot.
