How much are you paying for auto insurance on you C63

I saw this on another forum and wondered myself how much is everyone else paying for their auto insurance?

I'm thinking about switching and coming up on the expiration and shopping around.

Please provide ASL, any prior tickets/ points on your record, year, color of car? (I hear that makes a small difference in price on premiums.) Coupe? Sedan? Company?

Ill start it off

Im currently paying 1250 for 6 months on State Farm Full coverage. Im a 27 year old, Male, Chicago. Have a 2009 Black Sedan. Last speeding ticket was in 2008.

430 for 6 months on 2011 P31 sedan.

You need to understand a host of other factors besides age and driving history matter as well.
-coverage 100/150/100 or 15/30/15
-deductible 100 or 500 or 1000?
-zip code
-no of Cars in household
-no of drivers in household
-bundled with house,etc
-paid off / Lien
-som companies even look at credit score.

I'm 26 and paying about $1,600 for a full year on a 2012 black sedan. Unfortunately, the quote is probably reasonable - insurance fluctuates massively by jurisdiction, and for some reason, the C63 is relatively expensive to insure. I was quoted the same rate from the same company (Cincinnati) for a 2011 Lamborghini LP560-4, so I'm not entirely sure why the rate on the C63 is so high...

sounds like me. just got jacked up from 1050/6m to 2300/6m w progressive on just the c63 due to HOV lane violations. i sure as shiat am not paying $2300/6m. i will sell it immediately if i cant reinstate state farm. when i still lived in chicago, i was paying $650/6m for the c63 and $900/6m for an avalanche, cayman s AND the c63. no accidents since 1999, no speeding tickets since 2007. high occupancy lane and red light cameras are sprinkled in periodically.

see attached for most expensive 2013 vehicles. notice a trend? LOL.

$1900/yr AAA with maxed out coverage and rental car. Although I received speedings tickets, I've beat them all so none are on my record. Did traffic school online for a tailgating ticket so that shouldn't be on my record either. No accidents at fault.

29/M/California

My '99 Acura TL was like $500/yr.

I should also point out that AAA covers any aftermarket parts permanently fixed to the car, unlike other carriers.

Ive always wondered how that works. Do you keep receipts and prompt them on all your current and future mods as well?

Just keep all of the receipts. Photos help stay consistent with the dates. In my case, a lot of the mods were there when I picked it up and it's all listed on the bill of sale Vivid gave me.

I am an insurance agent with Nationwide... Interesting to see the differences in rate. Where you live will determine how expensive the insurance is as will your driving record.

FWIW, I'm at about $1200/yr with 300/300/100 BI/PD limits, $0 comp, $500 collision deductibles with the OEM endorsement which requires my company to use OE parts when possible. Auto contracts in NC do not require any company to use OE parts when making repairs...

The cars are expensive to insure due to the performance and cost of the parts. Some states will have a top tier rating symbol based on these factors.... This could be why someone earlier said the Lamborghini was as expensive to insure as a C63.

7500 for a year...at that price I will think twice if I want to own the car or not. But again to some that maybe chunk change.

I got a new quote of 639 for 6 months and thats with it part of a family plan with two other cars, home insurance as well.

Im most likely going with that one

I pay about $104/mo with State Farm, in Los Angeles. Two cars on the policy plus homeowners.

Mostly happy with them but their 9205B policy in California has an extremely long list of scenarios where they will not cover a total loss of the vehicle which gives some cause for concern.

For example, if you own your car and sell it to someone who pays for it with a Cashier's check, and that check turns out to be bad or fraudulent, even if you report the vehicle stolen, State Farm will not cover the loss, as you've voluntarily surrendered the vehicle by entering into a 'sales agreement or presumed sales agreement.'

Probably common sense to verify funds, but just one of those lack of coverage clauses I was unaware of.

I pay 715 for 6 months in Geico, full cover. It's the chepeast one I could find... 0 tickets and no warnings. Maybe the reason is that I've been livin in US only 7 years (driver's license it's 6 years old), but I'm 30+ years old. Should be lower than that? Dunno...

I just talked to my agent. Let me know if you'd like my agent to call you. If interested PM me your number.

It won't hurt to try.
