Sorry to break it to you but you have to replace the whole housing and its done by removing the bumper panel and accessing through the back, pain in the neck...

I have two functional fogs from my 2010. Both got replaced as part of rock chip damage to the front fascia. I'll post picks if you are interested. I've been slow to post them FS as I also have two functional headlamps as well.

Apparently the bezel tabs can melt and break when you remove them...be careful. Else you'll have to replace the bezel for $87 each from dealer.

Yeah, get rid of the broken glass until you get it replaced. No one will notice and I suspect the bulb still works.

I used this on the lenses - well worth it considering the cost and trouble to replace the fog lights.

I had the same problem and I was able to replace the passenger side foglight without having to remove the bumper cover like the dealer wanted to. It's sort of unconventional way but it work and no damage was done. PM me.

I replaced my passenger side by taking off the wheel and pulling off plastic piece under the front bumper. I'm pretty mechanically inclined and it took me about an hour and 15 minutes.

I will in the future. I am tempted to now just to hold the pieces together until I replace.

I'm holding off on fixing my fog lights (driver side is missing bezel, passenger side exploded from a rock, I have some cheap light repair sticky plastic sheet from Autozone on it). I drive through DC every day, the front of my car looks like a warzone from all the construction in teh City, rocks do a ****ton of damage).

When I no longer have to drive through the city everyday, I will fix the fog lights, and my wheels which have all sorts of damage, but are still functional.

I would give anything to see photos of your car...detailing the damage and how you have driven that thing like a tank through DC streets...So when you get around to it, get posting.

Your wish is my command, just went out on my lunch break.

Busted Fog light, passenger side (did not bother with driver side, just missing the bezel)

Busted lower mesh (this was the third replacement, I am done for now) Also, plenty of splitter grinding (okay, most of that was 1 particular instance in a parking lot that never used to have the concrete bars at teh end of each parking spot.. and then one day did.. or should I say night when I did that.. that kinda hurt).

Car is dirty, but the white specs are all paint chips (I really hate construction vehicles.. those damn dump trucks should have to be inspected regularly, and the fabric cover shields should be replaced often)..

All of my wheels have curb rash, this is just a pic of one of them. At some point I will sand/grind away the rash, and polish, or most likely plastidip the wheels.

Sorry for the threadjack..

I have not been able to wash/detail the car for a while now. My house takes up most of my time (read my wife gets really mad when I work on the cars and not the house ). ie this weekend we installed 2 windows, pulled up the old water damaged floor (from the storm that came by a few months ago, the water damaged area and mold were already taken care of, just had to pull the rest up to mix it with the new replacement wood which has taken ages to get to me, and I am still waiting.. hopefully today or tomorrow). No master bedroom, and in laws coming in a week.. no time to work on the car.

Sort of back on topic, germercedesparts.com (which is Mercedes of Annapolis, my dealership), has teh fog lights for around $123 each, no bezel though

I will be detailing my car sometime in the future, and I have touch up paint (okay, its a bottle of paint the MErcedes body shop gave me that was left over from when my bumper was being repaired, so it is color matched. Also need to find a replace the tow hook cover which vanished, it is $40, but comes unpainted, I might try to use the paint I have and a small hvlp sprayer on teh cover, but it will probably look like crap. Dealer wants $100 to paint it.. hahahahah.

I live in AZ and I have State Farm coverage. Our fog lamps are covered under glass coverage, no deductible:-)

My body shop quoted me $543 to repair both.

State Farm's adjust quoted $702:-)

Long story short, my fog lamps are fixed and I got to pocket the difference.

Good luck to you.
