The thicker pads will help the rubbing a bit, but it's prolly cheaper to go down 255 in ur tires.

If I had a 10mm it wouldn't have rubbed at the track. It really depends on the the "actual" size of the tire.
14mm spring pads or spacers? If spacers, I'm surprised to hear u don't rub in the rear. U must have stretched tires with ur OEM wheels. Lol

No kidding bro, at 2000$ a pop from the dealership u would expect them to be glued permanently to the car. Lol

14mm spacers on OEM 18s with RE760 265 on H&R springs no pads.

The rub point at the track was half way down the sidewall. I don't get nearly that amount of compression on the street.

Wow, impressive.. 18x9 +54 (+14mm spacers) = +40mm offset with 265/35/18 on H&R springs & no rubbing.. Amazing! The Bridgestone must be very rounded sidewalls.

H&R is probably your best choice (they make both 10mm and 12mm hubcentric spacers for the C63). There are a number of sponsors on MBWorld that carry H&R and there is a list of authorized retailers on the H&R web site. They also make bolts, or you can alternatively buy RAD. Stay away from cheap bolts - make sure they are a 10.9 hardness grade tempered steel like the H&R or RAD.

That all depends on whether you want to learn form the mistakes of others and/or how much you value your own safety.

If u are in Canada, buy them from essexdistribution in BC.. They are H&R canadian distributors. Great price, fast shipping (if in stock) & no customs taxes involved. They also sell 40mm lugs.
