It's a matter of simple math. He's using the arguement that I 'MAY' jump ship in 24 months. Thats his logic for why putting 10k down would be a bad move. Understandbale. But he's talking and comparing my deal to that leasebusters one. If you use your head and do the math. My deal, for 48 months, is better. Simple really..

With a lease you are just tipping the scale between total paid and total down/monthly payment to adjust it to where you're comfortable.

That being said, today I signed the papers and I only put 6,000ish down.

BUKAKI....

Now that crosses the line.

Look dude, I fully understand your rant and position. I'm just a step ahead. If I put 10k down for a 925 payment, its no different than a 9k down and a higher payment. It adjusts accordingly. The total numbers never change. A lease is all about what your comfortable paying a month. It's no strings attached. You pay a fee for that. If it was a black series... sure. Obviously if I plan to jump ship in 2 years, a large down payment is an obvious misguided decision.

All in all I really could care a less about e-battling you lol. You just jumped down my throat and sounded like an *******, so I talked to you like one.

Apologize for calling me bukaki. I'm hurt.

and yes, I am happy. I got the car I wanted, now comes the fun modding (within reason). If I love the car and make it through the winter with it. I may just buy it out. I have no idea yet.

I'll stack my MBA against your short thoughts any day pal. Maybe you and Camrillo can do math flash cards together.

Where did you download your MBA from?

Simple economics will tell you not to put a large down payment against a depreciating asset.

You always lose because that money could be in your bank account / investments making interest

Maybe US market is different, I was quoted a 2013 C63 Coupe ($76,500) with 0 down (I pay drive off) and 36 months lease for $854 a month and turned it down, to order a 507. Your deal sucks, however at the end of the day if it makes you happy, enjoy.

When will we see photos?

Yes, Canada marks up cars like crazy. Thats why there are businesses here that specialize in bringing US cars to Canada. But then people get scared to see a US car and it hurts resale.

Pictures soon. Heres a video for now.
