Newb ?s about wheels and a few others

Hey guys I'm about to but a 09 c63 next week it currently on kw coilovers. My question is what is the widest wheels I can fit in front and back with no running issues and at what offsets do I need the front and rear to be?

Also what size tires and what tires are u guys using that have worked well?

Where's the best place to find aftermarket grill?

And last but not least what is the best tune for the car ? Id like to add headers exhaust and intake when I do the tune.

Sorry for all the questions but that's why I mentioned I'm a newb to the MB world

19x9 +40mm front & 19x10 +52mm would be very flush w/o rubbing on a lowered car.

I'm running 19x8.5 +41mm, and still have a bit of room up front. My rears are 19x9.5 +50mm, and I'm flush.

Both set-up will work, but my set-up is more narrow than the first set-up mentioned.

PSS are the best out there, but pricey. I'm using V12 & they are a good deal with decent performance.

245/35/19f & 265/30/19 on my car. But 275/30/19 will work fine on the 19x10 +52mm. 285/30/19 is doable, but I would de 19x10 +55mm offset so you don't rub for sure.

Revozport or Boca has nice CF grill. Ebay might have cheaper ones, but watch for quality.

This is a bad quastion... LOL!! Let's not start a tuner war again, just search & will get tons of feedbacks on different tuners... choose the best for your needs.

Eurocharged, Velos, OE tuning, Weistec just to name a few companies available.

Welcome to the forum, hope you will enjoy it here as much as driving this car. LOL

LOL... I'm no Jedi, just had 4 sets of wheels on this car, so I lived & learned.

I had 19x8.5 +45mm front on my old SV1 Forged 3pcs... and they were too sunk in, so dont do it. If you want to run 19x8.5 front, do +38mm.

OP, FYI OEM wheels are (same applies to 18's) 19x8 +45mm & 19x9 +54mm, way too sunk in... u can use spacers like Master khmergod to push them out til you get new wheels... 10mm rear spacers will make them 19x9 +44mm & 12mm front spacers will make them 19x8 +33mm ... they will be flush w/o rubbing either.

P.S khmergod used 15mm front & still clear i believe.

I currently have KW v3 coilovers with 12mm Front/Rear spacers on OEM 18" wheels (no rub issues). In the market for some new wheels soon though..keep us posted with some pictures when you decide on something!

Im definately going to go with a 10" rear then. My escalade should be sold within the week then I can pick up my c63 im looking at. My first set of mods will be wheels and a new grill as the previous owner already has done the coil overs and window tint for me.

As far as a tune goes like I said im a newb and not used to the MB tunes i come from the BMW world so this is all new to me. All i plan to do for right now is headers exhaust intake and a tune and a high quality stealth sound system. First I need to sell my car then I can take care of biz.

Oh another question are the fog lights in the 09s hid or no? If not where is a good place to get hids for the MB?

and id also like to do a front lip spoiler but the only one i found was like 15 or 2000. Anything for the $500 around?

^ FWIW I had 10.5's in the rear on mine lowered on springs. Rubbing will happen only if i have a lot of weight in the back/trunk. I've had 4 passengers without rubbing but I've also had a different set of 4 passengers and will get some rubbing. Only over a good sized bump or if the road is really banked and I'm flying.

Personally, it really doesn't bother me because for the most part I keep to myself and it is just me in the car.

10.5 +52 with a michelin PSS 275/30/19 in the rear.

Tunes: debated topic, but for your needs I would just go with Eurocharged. As for if one is better than others, it goes back and forth. But, I'd pick Eurocharged simply on the customer service and help I've received from them... and I don't even have a tune.

Front lip for $510... CLICK! --- It depends on what style you like. Some guys have also had success with ebay lips.
