They did well given the heat.
Fly2nite was in the right lane, but those were among his worst runs. With OE tune only he ran 12.6 @ 109.3 on a 2.044 60'. He flashed his car back to stock and it ran 13.2 @ 104.7 on a 2.122 60'
JRSJR65 did really well and ran a 12.3 @ 114 on a 2.04x 60' if I recall. He's got headers and stuff.

Not sure if we're going next week or not, but next time I go will be the F10 M5s track debut.

Best I've done in the SL is 11.750@119.04. My '60 is a paltry 1.9 even with the DRs. However its only my 2nd time running DRs on any car so I'm sure its user error. SL is stock non pp with 1300 miles.
I also weighed it on the track scale and with 1/4 tank of gas it weighs 4045 lbs.

The C63 Coupe weighed in at 4115 and I'm 160lbs, so right at 3955lbs with about 1/8th tank and the cinderblock JJ put behind my drivers seat.
The slips he posted were not representative of my action in the right lane. I think the 15sec run was the wheelhop run where I took a few seconds to check my rearview for my transmission. Think the 13 sec run was complete traction loss on launch.
You can see in the video the run with Race Start, it bogged pretty hard, like I've never experienced with RS before. The RPMs drop and the car (and my head) react to the power drop.
Sorry for the crap audio on the Hero 3 Black - that things going back.

ya the new sl's are light from the aluminum frame, saves like 200lbs. benz's are pretty heavy with all the safety and sound dampening materials. im pretty suprised you were able to click off 11's thats pretty impressive, specially with the heat. last time we were out there best my wife was a 11.9@128mph, that was on some michelin super sports now we have nt05's but will probably wait till it cools off some.

I guess I just just didn't expect it to weigh almost as much as the E. Sounds like everyone had a good time and no one broke so that is good. Looking forward to the next trip with a little cooler weather hopefully.
