Random observation (Push to start)
Anyone else notice when they put the key in the ignition their car runs a bit different? more aggressive, I tried it 15 minutes ago when I left the house..decided to try the key in and even tested it several times..key in vs the push button and the car seemed more responsive with the key in vs the push button...Kinda weird? Anyone else ever noticed this?

Are you for real?
Maybe someone in front of your car farted and the few extra methane molecules in the surrounding air gave you the performance boost.
On mine I observed a huge performance increase if I am wearing an AMG t-shirt while driving it. - it has to be good for at least 15 hp!

No I wasn't drunk when I noticed this...I even tried it again this morning same thing. I know it sounds pretty stupid ..I thought so too honestly. Could it be because when I did the tune the key was in the ignition? Maybe it reads differently? No idea..

Your car 'usually' goes from 1st to 3rd???
This is a C63 AMG we're talking about. Correct?
This has NEVER happened to me nor have I heard or read about it.

I have what I think is called "keyless go", which means I hop in the car and push the start button and it starts (as long as I have the key close by). What I dont have, is any ignition to put a key into. There is literally nowhere for it to go.
Does your car have both? Does this make your car or my car strange?

I just read this again, where do you put your key?

For all practical purposes this is not possible. Because the key just provides ignition.
Anyone who knows internal combustion engine working will understand, the key is no where in that cycle.

It think its kinda like the same feeling you get adding Carbon Fiber...you might think you are a little faster and a whole lot lighter....just ask Roswell

"Adding" CF will not help. Now, "replacing" OEM bits with CF bits will help, if ever so slightly.

typically id agree with this statement but the original zr1 in the 90's had a valet key and a master key that could change fuel maps. same with the newer boss mustang you can special order a "race" key that gets you more power but isnt street legal for emissions purposes. However in the case of any of the benz's the key is a key.
