I saw the full episode and was a bit taken aback. Having said that, it was good banter and fooling around by the two trying to outsmart each other.

Audi S4 Sold
That doesnt make sense coz every chance Clarkson gets to praise 6.2L engine he goes on and on saying how this is the best motor ever, He was obssessed with the C63 in comparion to the M3 & RS4

Who gives a crap. We all know what the car is worth.
Lately, I feel like Top Gear's judgement on various cars is made just to be as controversial as possible.
I do enjoy watching the show but I don't treat it is a motorhead's prophecy - it has become a pure entertainment show and lost it's value in my eyes.
Chris Harris on Cars is IMO the best series with spot-on car reviews at the moment.

you are right! some of the cars didnt deserve to be part of that episode, but then, those two folks are trying to pull each other and their respective cars down! I think it was a fun episode and not to be taken seriously.

Yeah Clarkson had a CLK Black Series before that one. I remember he reviewed an AMG with the 6.2L engine (can't recall what model) and called it the automotive equivalent of an axe murderer. Sounds about right.
Really though, just enjoy Top Gear for what it is... top quality (and beautifully shot) automotive related entertainment. Anyone that watches it for car reviews or legitimate car news is missing the point.

I actually bought my car because of his review in the comparison with the M3 and RS4 (even got the same color)
I drove all of those cars, including the CTS-V and never doubted my purchase for 1 second.

Same with me! The M3 was my dream car for years and I didn't even know about the C63 until I saw that Top Gear episode. The engine sound and the axe murder comment sold me. I was coming from a small engined great handling import and wanted to move to serious horsepower.

I test drove the CTS-V and chose the C63 on exhaust and how the seat fit me perfect. Felt the CTS-V was on the heavier side. Don;t get me wrong, I'd rock either of them any day.
