Please. Act like you've owned and modded a car before. Mods take time - I've had this car for a little over a week and have performed what I consider to be more important mods. Specifically, Mode Carbon's Luftstrom line along with Huper Optic ceramic tint, even on the windshield.

I swear, if the chrome trim and grill isn't blacked out and those side markers aren't painted (which is half assed IMO) people have a free card to gripe at a week old owner of a $93k car. It's amazing.

Go look at your awesome painted bumps where your side markers still reside. I think I'm gonna start calling you "amateur hour".

I don't know if I have to take it as a joke or if you are serious. Either way I was just playing with you on the side markers. That is usually the first thing you mod on our cars (and the first thing members advice you to do). It's easy, cheap and gives it a better look. While waiting for delivery you anticipated with CF parts (which are good quality ones) but probably forgot about those yellow ugly thing. I had to tease you on that

I just was anticipating someone nitpicking; so it was just building and building - you were just the first to open that door. I was overly-sensitive and apologize. I didn't realize it was a common teasing for new owners. I'm all for tradition

I'll just disclose the intentions of the car here: Trim and grill are staying stock, side markers will stay until I find suitable time and talent to shave them completely. Until then, I have larger fish to fry - namely, KW's and flared rear quarters to house 20x13 rears. I'm very much interested in PUR 4OUR wheels as they're very close to the factory 507 wheel. My WS6 has 19x14's and looks great. Just need a sponsor to do it today, otherwise it'll be a next year thing.

Apologies accepted
As for your project it will be interesting to see how it goes. Will you be going widebody kit all the way? 13x20 is pretty impressive in the back, how about the front?

I'd be fine running a 20x9 up front. The front flare is large enough to house that. The magic has to happen on the rear flare. Here's where it get's interesting. We all know the BS flares won't house a 13" wide wheel properly. So here's what I propose - a flare style similar to the below is what's needed. Now, there are things I would change to make this flare perfect so don't get hung up on the details; it's the style differing that of the BS that makes the below style more appropriate. Also, the wheels are wrong for the look I'm after. I'm sticking with PUR 4OUR on my build.

Dude, if you nail that rear flared arch you will have perfected this car. Its the one styling aspect that is missing IMO.

Additional rear wheel traction is just a nice side effect.

C63 AMG Edition 507 Coupe
C63 507 looks

Of course, it is a question of taste. I think C63 AMG, whether 507 or standard, looks great with factory trim. I think these flared rear arches look overdone...

You really need a head check. All these guys are complimenting you on your purchase of a 93k c class and you want to dump on them.

The irony is your resale in 2 years. Good luck with that amateur move.

Hey,

Sexy Looking car!!!! Sometimes I think I should have gotten the 4 door...

Does anyone have any thoughts on the ideal tire pressure for the 507?? I've been getting conflicting info from the dealer.

Thank you for the compliments sir I think I'll just go matte black like the factory 507 wheels I have now. Figured I'd keep the current theme.

Sounds like a great look for sure.
What do you think of the 19" wheel on the C63 507? I like em imho.
Have you checked out the weight difference of the oem wheels compared to the
PUR 4OUR ? I checked out the website and if I went the same wheel do you purchase the 1 peice or 3 peice wheel? I hope I get a build date this week as I heard that September is the last production month of the 507 and I really have my heart set on the M156. I dont think the new TT 4.0 V8 or TT V6 will stir the soul like the M156!

Thanks again for all your feedback as I am newb regarding MB AMG cars and most aftermarket wheels for that matter.
