If only I was back in Hell Paso and didn't have a 507 on order... If it it were me I'd keep it and buy a 5-door hatchback to use as a family car. Ford Focus or similar. Drop the annual miles on the C63 to save on insurance.
Of course in Hell Paso you could always go to the Wal-Mart in the valley off of 10 and leave it unlocked for about 2 hours. Claim insurance money cause it'll be in Juarez by the time you get back.

In my experience, a modified car is harder to sell than a stock car, and mods actually drive down its retail value. Case in point, selling a prestine e46 M3 with nearly 10k in suspension work, proved harder than if i was selling the same car with no mods.
In addition, this car has been repainted which further reduces its appeal.
I agree with everyone who recommends parting it out first and then selling it n stock configuration.

I think 45,000 is all you will get out of it.
I have seen builds that are into to 6 figures get sold for 1/3 of the price including the cost of the vehicle. When you go that deep you always lose your shirt.

people , people.....I know that i'm not going to get my money back for all the mods . I have been doing it for a long time but I can promise you , from a long history of customizing cars , that I can get more than car value . I know it's limited market but there are plenty of people out there that would love to have this car at a fraction of the cost for doing this new .
I see you know the area
my other half has a Mazda 6 and I have an Explorer Sport so the daily driver issue is covered . as far as dropping the annual miles....i'm thinking 13,500 miles on this '09 is going to be hard to lower any more . it's only driven once a month

~$50k?
I've been looking into a C63, possibly modded, keep me updated. Not sure what route to go, but I certainly need more speed than stock, but a warranty would be nice. That Weismann trans is rated up to 1000hp right? How's she drive around town when light on throttle?
Currently driving a modded 2003 RS6 with 425/450 at the wheels. Problem is trans can't handle much more. Awesome all season car with Quattro.
Cheers!

I resprayed my whole CL63 but the roof, by supposedly one of the best body shops in Miami but I was disappointed. Paint chips very easily. Nothing equals the nano OEM paint.

Have you considered a clear bra? That should help with the chips and is relatively unnoticeable if you get the whole car done. I'd assume the price would be about similar to that of repainting the whole car.
