Obviously that is one of the kind car!!! Babied
My guess is you will be better off selling it stock. I mean unless you find a real C63 fan it will be difficult to make up the extra money you put on aftermarket modifications.
I would say 55-60k as-is for the fanatic. 45-47k for the common buyer

let me be the first to say if you end up parting this beast out

Weistec Stage 3 supercharged
Weistec built tranny
Weistec oil seperator
Keith's ram air setup
Revosport customized F1 Safetycar front bumper
Dad's carbon trunk
Stone Carbon starless carbon front grille

consider it all sold!

From past experience, I have found you never get anywhere near your money back when you modify a car. Generally speaking I have found I have never sold a modified car for more than what I could have sold it for stock, then again I have never sold a Benz with $30k worth of Supercharger and other mods, so it might be worth $10-$15k above stock value for someone looking to do the same mods.

I cant comment on price because I am in Australia and our prices here are alot more.

Btw, 2nd dibs on the supercharger and all Weistec stuff if you part it out.

40-45k as is, because you cannot give any warranty even with the low mileage
Mods mean little other than you built a race car.
As others have stated remove mods and sell as stock for the same price.
Personally the car is in a very limited consumer niche. By that I mean every one will want it but paying for it might become a problem.

Keep it, put a Recaro car seat on the back and take your son on it.

So a $13k+ supercharger system means nothing to you?

OP: These are the kind of buyers you need to avoid. Don't part out your car unless you are absolutely desperate to sell. I'd rather find a buyer who will buy the car as is and will appreciate all the mechanical work done to it. I can understand when people don't want to pay anything extra for cosmetic mods, but a supercharger is not one of them! I would say your mods add at least $10-15k to the price of a similar stock C63, which is a lot less than what you have spent, but not zero as Mr. Critter believe!. So mid 50's sounds like a reasonable price.

Has anything been done to the car to address the headbolt issue? That seems to be the biggest issue with out of warranty pre 2011 cars.

In my experience, a modified car is harder to sell than a stock car, and mods actually drive down its retail value. Case in point, selling a prestine e46 M3 with nearly 10k in suspension work, proved harder than if i was selling the same car with no mods.

In addition, this car has been repainted which further reduces its appeal.

I agree with everyone who recommends parting it out first and then selling it n stock configuration.

I concur that getting moiney back on mods is extremely difficult. Buyers for used C63 is no a giant pool of people, buyers for cars ex warranty even smaller, buyers for cars with reworked internals and major mechanical mods even smaller again, buyers of cars with all the above PLUS excited by electric blue car ...even smaller!

Bottom line is you want to sell it fast, expect zero cents in the dollar on the mods. You wnat to hang out for a lot longer for a hard core enthuisiast to come along then you might get 10-120c in the dollar on all the mods done. The least probable scenario i believe is a quick sale at 80-90c in the dollar on mods.

Godd luck with it. I will be in the same position as you one day with my cars and expect to take a bath on them all.

Been there, done that. I've sold a powertrain swapped car before and lost out big time.

You basically have 2 options:

(1) You wait for the right buyer, which could take a long time. I couldn't wait so got shafted but was aware of the consequences. On the other hand, I've also sold highly modified cars to buyers who were going to put the same mods on the car anyways, those are the best car transactions I've had. Just be sure you have a ton of documentations on all the works performed on the car.

(2) You return the car to stock so you can at least recoup the price you could sell the car for if it were stock. This still sucks but at least you should mostly lose out on the labor cost for your mods. Most buyers, unless very well off, prefer buying a car as close to factory stock as possible, i.e. not tinkered with. Factory warranty is also a huge plus, which is obviously out the window with the kind of mod list you have.

Good luck either way, I hope your C63 finds a good home and a deserving owner!

well guys , I have read all the responses and some are along the lines I was thinking and some are

I already know , from the many years of customizing cars , that I will not get my money back for all the mods . NADA has the car valued at $45,000ish and the mods are easily $40,000+ (parts and labor) . i'm trying to figure out if it's worth the effort to return it back to almost OEM , except the color

If this thing would be reverted to stock you might have a buyer in me. I've been looking at IS F's and C63's and I can't get over how much I like the EBM paint color and the paint color options on the C63 are just so plain.

back to stock would be nearly impossible and require way too much work

@VMX128 is Mr. Critter that far off with pricing, you fellas just want to strip this car. It does not have the factory Benz paint job which in itself reduces the value while the mods if not done professionally mean little in my book, some of the guys on these sites have difficulty changing a light bulb let alone major mechanical work. Not to say this is the case with this car but after all this work this car should be kept and enjoyed.

Now back at you with a question what would you pay for a completely stock, pristine condition 09 with 12000 miles garage kept beauty?
