No cel light but the same wiggly maf sensor the one we used silicone seal on to seat and seal properly . The only problem i have now is the front piece not fitting tight and popping up because of the short post. Mine is a black series if that makes any difference?

Disconnect the maf sensors get a bit of loc tite put it in the screw hold with a pin or something small then nip them up see how u go
Or clear the code and hopefully is doesn't come back up
Let us know how you go

my CEL light just came on...car is running fine...it didn't come on for about an hour after driving and now it won't turn off..the one MAF is a tiny tiny bit wiggly but not very much at all..basically as tight as I can go because the way the hole is drilled hits a weird spot on the MAF sensor...anyone else get a CEL after driving?
Most likely you have a leak somewhere.

I would say drive your car as you want to. Don't focus on that CEL! If it pops up then check the code and get it fixed. Simple

i got CEL this morning, and plug in my ODBII bluetooth, it was P2091,
i redone everything and use the seal come with it, not the oem seal around MAF.... tighten it...
clear the code..let see how it goes...after 24-48h

i agree the airbox should have been perfect fit since it cost so much and its for mercedes...
we shouldnt transfer the embled, and clips...and retain factory parts just incase..

I was using K&N came with it, but prior to that i have Air Dry Filter, i switched from KN to Air Dry and clear the code, and let see how it goes....after 24 -48h
seem like MAF and K&N are the issue here.
I do have a problem where MAF slide in, i have to shave down a lil bit...Not perfect surface....

I have the same problem. One of the posts that holds the clips for the front cover is too short. It causes that side of the front cover to pop up as soon as i start driving. Some other members have the same issue. Carbonio said it's most likely due to the clips being damaged when being transfered from the OEM cover. This is clearly not the case. The post is short, plain and simple.

I tried that. I even swapped the clips around. The post is too short. I have to press down firmly to get it to clip in, but as soon as it does, the cover itself is already pulling it back up on its own, and then the vibrations from driving finish it off. I'm sure it's not every single one, but they must have had a bad batch. I absolutely love the look of the air box, but just as another member stated, when you pay a premium price, you expect a premium product, in all aspects. I'm sure I can get creative and fabricate a solution to extend the one post.

I've had this intake for about 3 years. Had all brands of filters. Never had a cel because of the intake. What have I noticed? On the dyno, maybe 2-3rwhp difference when I first installed it. Stock filters or aftermarket made no difference. Easy to install too. I bought mine from dadsc63. Only issue is the bolts keep falling off that hold the front intake dividers.
