I get my parts here: https://www.oediscountparts.com/ a little bit more expensive than parts.com but shipping is free so at the end you pay less than what you would pay on parts.com

Here's the results of my search for a 2012 grill to fit on my 2011.
Of these only parts.com didn't have a phone number to call, nor were they willing to work with me on the price and/or shipping costs
402 from http://mercedespartscenter.com
435 from http://www.oediscountparts.com/
450.99 from http://www.genuinemercedesparts.com/
~$400 ($348 + AT LEAST 15% shipping) parts.com
I haven't pulled the trigger on buying a grill, so i have no personal experience here, but from the couple days of research/calling I've done, the place that gave me personally the best "warm & fuzzy" was MPC.com. It was the shortest on-hold time, and the longest phone call.
I tried asking 'stupid' questions while I had them look up parts & part numbers, etc and it seemed MPC was fine with that. OEDP & GMP were less happy with the phone call, in that order, but they could have been having a busy day and i certainly didn't get a bad feeling from them overall.
Again, minus parts.com they're all dealerships somewhere throughout the USA, but don't remember who was who.
My only particular problem (which may really not be a problem) is parts.com has no Customer support outside an email box and online reviews seem to be very poor if you ever get the wrong part/have to exchange something.

Anyone know the part number for the 507 grille assembly? I'm assuming it's the same as the non-507, but comes with black trim instead of chrome. The single fin is still chrome.

I generally use fcpeuro.com for the warranty especially on anything you think you may need to replace in the future and they do sell OEM mercedes but not everything.
The cheapest place I have found for oem mercedes parts is this place, mercedes dealer on long island, they ship quick and where by far the cheapest when doing my top end https://www.benzpartsforless.com/

That site has been closed for a while. The girl that used to run it may still be around. Someone may know and help you out. Otherwise you are going to have to look elsewhere. One other source people like for their warranty is FCP Euro. https://www.fcpeuro.com/

Most of the online dealer-related sellers sound the same so it's easy to get confused. Avoid these guys below like the coronavirus - they have to order most parts but they charge you right away, send you an email stating the part(s) have been shipped when in actuality they haven't even received them in stock so you won't get them in timely fashion. Scumbags...

http://mbpartscenter.com/ I used them 3x now. Last month I ordered a row intake for $288 with shipping. Shipping and processing took about a week and the prices were very competitive.

FCP Euro. I do extensive research before buying a part and I have found that they always have the best price on OEM equipment, and they ship fast. I do not buy part from Amazon or Ebay since I do not know what I am getting. China produces fakes on absolutely every item there is in the world.
