Ya I don't consider a nitrous pass as record holding.
Nitrous is like a chick that stuffs her bra. It's there, but it's not really there.

Guys, been there done that.
I do understand all the "hate" or dislike for nitrous. I don't care for it normally but I love speed. When you have reached the maximum output on the N/A motor you will look for additional power and thats when nitrous, turbo's, or a super charger will come into the picture.
When we began running nitrous on these motor(which they love) years ago it was because Weistec didn't exist yet and at the time no one thought our motors would take forced induction. Otherwise, we would have taken that route.
The nitrous set up we ran took months to design and install and would go up to a 300 shot if we wanted it to. The most we ran was a 250 without without any motor problems. The stock tranny will NOT take that much torque and gives up pretty quickly. We burned through three clutch packs in three months and rebuilding the tranny isn't cheap.
You will be fine with a 50-100 shot all day long and should't affect the tranny at all.
I am normally not an advocate of nitrous but at the time it was all there was so we made the best of it. It was a complicated and detailed system and worked. The only time it was used was at the track. All that to say that nitrous does work and these motors do love it!! Be careful and enjoy!!

Thanks for the feedback guys.....just a watched Fast and the Furious re-run so I felt the need to press on a button other than the IPE switch....haha...idea is intriguing so will figure it out....any pointers on a very simple 100 shot set up would be awesome. Thanks again
