Weistec Stage 2 in the 10's!

Congratulations to EkS in his Weistec Stage 2 Supercharged C63! Last weekend he ran a 10.8 @ 129 MPH at Famoso Raceway just outside of Bakersfield.

Modifications include:

Weistec Stage 2 Supercharger system
Weistec Trunk Ice Tank
Weistec Drop In Air Filters
MHP Long Tube Headers
MHP Mid-Pipes with custom X-Pipe
Evosport Rotors
CCW Skinnys up front
CCW 17" wheel with Hoosier Drag Radials
100 Octane Mix



So unassuming as well! Great job again!

Thanks to Weistec, and their support!

Their products and service is top notch. If anyone is one the fence about going with a Stage 2/3 don't be and go for it. I've had NO issues whatsoever and the car drives like stock, which is the best part. Drive over 100 miles to the track, put down 10's and drive home, what more can you ask for? This is best upgrade anyone can do to a M156 car hands down!

As for going faster...we shall see!

Seriously, shouldn't the car go much faster than this with those mods? Cars with way less have gone this fast or faster.

sleeper c63? haha you guys crack me up. sleepers start as cars in the sub 200hp category not 440+. You ever seen a sleeper lambo,viper, or ferrari? maybe a r63 can qualify solely because most dont know it exists. I guess its a matter of perspective. Anyways great pass, Hopefully i can get a time like that with the right tires.

Congrats. Now strip it a lil and some weight reduction mods and this car is good for a 10.5 run and 130 plus

The C63 is not even in the same league as those cars. Also, the C63 has something extra that those other cars you mention don't...2 extra doors!
But yes the R63 would make a better sleeper.

That might be next. But I might be able to drop a few hundredths before I start removing weight. There are a couple more things that can still be done, better weather being one.

No dyno numbers. According to DragTimes DA was at +1772.

Giving me hope of getting into the 10s when the Stage II gets fitted.

Might need to get some skinnies and drag wheels.

Does the Ice tank make a big difference in the 1/4 mile, i thought this was more of a mod for the track.

Yes the ice tank makes a difference in the 1/4 mile. You want that cold dense air.

Nope, I had already ran out for this run. This was probably the 2nd or 3rd run WITHOUT ice! The tank was already warm by this run
