Thanks for the warm welcome guys..I'm still waiting for the shipping company to pick up the C63 but they finally found a truck and its supposed to be leaving Texas for California tomorrow!
After some research im going to get the Eurocharged tune and Mike's powerpipe. Hopefully that will hold me down for a few months before I look for additional mods

I don't get much attention in my C63 unless I let the enging roar. I came in hot to a liquor store and the three guys outside where like "what the hell is that? I didn't know they make that". Couple of times at a gas station some old dude sees the 6.3 badge and says "6.3, thats an awfully big engin for a car that size". Yes, Yes it is. My favorite comment was "Hey I heard you driving by, you got like some special optional kit on that?" "Yes the AMG kit".

FINALLY got the car today. After numerous delays the car has finally arrived.
Initial impressions: the car doesn't feel very fast. Granted I have smashed on the gas from a stop yet but moving around cars on the freeway wasn't as easy as the GTR. I know the GTR has way more power (tuned, exhaust, etc) but I had been driving a 4cyl Toyota for the last 3 weeks and thought my brain would hit the reset button but it obviously hasnt as of yet. The interior is very nice. The seats bolsters are a bit much but I'm sure I'll get used to them. Some say the interior is feels cheap but I really like it. It's elegant in its own way. The car handles very well for a Mercedes. The only comparison I have is an E55 is the C def handles much better.
I did have a couple quick questions. The car didn't come with an owners manual so can anyone tell me how I can turn off the headlights while driving in the day time? I dont really like the idea of my headlights being on at all times. I was able to somewhat get around this by turning my parking lights on but I'd prefer no lights on in the day time. Also, I tried turning on the L7 surround sound through the nav screen but wasnt able to select that option. Does that mean I dont have L7? Thanks in advance!

2. The DRLs are controlled in the dash menu under "settings" and "lights". To get there, scroll left or right by using the control pad on the left side of the steering wheel. Also, you should be able to download a free PDF of the manual from the MB website.
3. If you can't select it , you probably don't have it.

Thank you sir! Sucks to hear that I don't have the L7..I could have sworn that I had all options except the P30 when I decoded my vin. Oh well..am I missing much by not having the L7? I'm guessing I have the standard "base" audio :/
1. Try resetting the TCU (you may need to look up threads). It's possible the former owner drove it like a granny so it's not responsive which is why it feels sluggish.

If you aren't an audiophile you probably aren't missing out on much. Some people say that the Harman Kardon system isn't that great and end up doing aftermarket upgrades anyway. It's all about personal preference. Ignorance could be bliss

Hmmm I believe I have the HK..but I could be wrong. If I have HK does that mean I should have L7 as well or are they seperate options? My options listing includes option 810 which I believe is the HK/L7?
