Thumbs up 60whp gain after Eurocharged tune! very impressed!

since Eurocharged has been running their specials recently on their V4 tune, I decided to bite the bullet and purchase it as an early christmas present to myself for my 09 non p30 c63. ONLY mod is secondary cat delete. not even filters or anything.

ive never been able to find a true before/after dyno chart aside from whats on their website so i decided to head over to european auto source in OC to get a baseline dyno and then dyno my car immediately after with the Eurocharged tune. so a true same day before/after dyno results.

the car put down ~360whp with ONLY a 2nd cat delete and then put down ~420rwhp immediately after. We did several pulls and it looks like it capped out around ~425rwhp. needless to say I was impressed with the gains, especially since its across the entire powerband.

on the way home i had a few times to get on it but ill honestly tell you the only time ive ever had a smile this big on my face was when i first purchased the car. the car pulls like a freight train now. driveability is just like stock but the tune really unleashes the full potential. i even think the shifts are a tad quicker but i could be wrong.

i could go on and on but ill let the results speak for themself. thanks to Eurocharged for the best bang for the buck mod imo and to the folks at european auto source for the dyno runs.

my wife bananas! :D
With great power, comes great responsibility

all kidding aside. my 2010 c63 after a EC tune is night and day from before the tune as well. Just the driving experience even as a DD is so much better. the gains off a simple tune is tremendous, really surprises people just how much we can get out of our engines

Great number. Congratulation.
I have the same tune and same result.
Do you guys experience pinging noise on high load/high RRM? I running on 91 map and even used 93 oct or 100 oct but the noise still there. Very notable on first and second gear at high load/RPM. Used many different gas station with no luck. Put stock map back and the noise is gone.

Probably pull better on the top end if it wasn't so pig rich. You're running close to or more fuel than a blower car.

I Dont have that problem. I would think it could be gas related but you tried another octane already.

send us an email, we can send you a new file. Did you list mods/elevation-location/and fueling when sending the file?

Does this V4 tune work for long tube headers without cats? or is there a V4 tune available for those modifications? Thanks

ford svt's, and C63!!!
I went from 13.7 @ 102 to 13.2 @ 108 with nothing more than a eurocharged tune using the same 91 octane gasoline at 6500' elevation. I was very skeptical, but am a true believer now. BTW, Those were average times of three runs each, before and after to stave off a fluke run using my G-tech pro. I have my mhp headers and cat-less mids going on this weekend, so I'll see if she can muster a high 12!!! Fingers are crossed.

13.7 and 13.2? Isn't that really slow for a C63 .....I know your elevation is high but...

It is slow, but I own, and have owned quite a few high performance vehicles, and they are affected greatly by the elevation. I have a nicely modded 03 Lightning that should run high twelves, but barely runs mid-thirteens, a 04 Cobra that should be mid-low 11's but in the mid twelves. Sold the Cobra to a sea level guy in Texas, he made 18lbs of boost, I barely mustered 12 with no pulley change. It's crazy. I have a D1 procharger on a f 150 pulleyed past the maximum blower rpm, and barely makes 11 lbs, when most can surpass 12 lbs with a smaller P1 blower with a less aggressive drive ratio.

I run my stuff at an eighth mile dragstrip that's 90 miles away with elevation above 7000 ft, and yes, my stuff is slow, but I believe it is due to the elevation, as my vehicles do very well there. My Lightning and C63, have chewed up several SRT8 vehicles, and My old Terminator "terminated" just as it should've in many races I've encountered there, so I "think" it's relevant? My C63 feels the same now with a "tune" here in Wyoming where I live, as it did "bone stock" where I bought it in Phoenix with under 5K miles on it.

If you were hearing pinging, wouldn't it be in high gears not first and second...

Why aren't the knock sensors retarding timing?

And just as another reference on the elevation, that lightning of mine will et and trap better than a friend's 03 ZO6 Vette, my friend with the Vette can "drive", and it takes a strong Lightning to surpass a C5 ZO6 in any kind of a race imo.

This might not sit too well here on this forum, but This Lightning of mine runs 8.8-9.0 at this track, and the C63 is usually 9.0-9.3, but the Lightning is on slicks with a stall converter, and the C is coming on quickly towards the end of the eighth. A full quarter would probably put the C63 "in it's current condition" around 3-4 car lengths ahead, if I was to guess.

Reason i said it really notable in 1 and 2 gear because in higher gear speed C63 trap at higher gear will be really hard to detect/heard. For the knock sensors i am not really sure but Eurocharged sent me a new file to try.
Awnsome tune and service.

6500 ASL is ~25% power loss, >110 HP
a 450 HP car becomes a 340 HP car

the key is he picked up 1/2 second and 6 mph
huge

car should be ~10-12% slower
so a 12.5 would be 13.7
113 would drop to 102
