I really love the "original" C63 wheels.
They have a very stout, powerful look. The only negative is that they hide the impressive brake hardware a bit.

Beautiful color and welcome to the forum. Come join us for Cars & Coffee @ Classic BMW / Spring Creek and the tollway. Last parking spot is gone by 7:20 a.m.
Also, another forum member here hosts his own monthly get together. We would love to drool over your new red beast. If you are interested in showing off your car as often as possible then come join us (and I'll point you to John's thread that announces time/date/place).

I'll accept that inconvenience in exchange for peace of mind, as I know those meaty spokes will hold up better to the abuse that the roads here in central Indiana dish out.

Clark Kent I am hoping we can pull off a last minute December date to meet for Carrollton Motor Club. All depends on weather. My shop is done we could have a few C63's meet up there! The front drive isn't paved yet so not sure you'd drive on it LOL!
planefreak very nice car and welcome! We get together with our local C63's when we can. Cars & Coffee is Dec 7, see how the weather is then. I may go hunt that weekend

That would be awesome to meet up at your office. I'll bring the tequila. After my last visit to ECR I am not afraid of a little off-roading anymore. I caught up with a slower Mustang, and then a faster Mustang caught up to us. At turns 7-8 everybody had brakes except me! They went left and I went straight. It was high speed and hard braking. I visited the weeds for a bit. My front lip took some abuse. Oh well.
Speaking of ECR, the next date is Sat 12/14. I am planning on going and bringing my 19 yr old daughter along to give it a try also. She's like her Dad. I think she'd love this. PlaneFreak, you past your break in period? C'mon out :-)

Forgot to mention that Sat 12/7 I won't be at Cars & Coffee as I'll be at a car show hosted at the Dallas VA Hospital. I'm an ex-Marine, and would be honored to get some of those guys out into the fresh air and enjoying the roar of an AMG engine. He-he, we might even end up at The Lodge.
So . . . let's all introduce ourselves to one another at ECR on the 14th!
