Had H&R coilovers on my car for about 2 years, they made the dreaded "clunking" noise at lower speeds, some other people with H&R's reported the same problem, some said it can be user error (installation). I didn't want to deal with it so I bought a different brand.

here's my original thread:

Everything included
$500 OBO

You just need to replace the upper mount bearings which cost $30-$40 a pair.
Very easy to do prior to installation.

You fix your problem? I just got tired of it and got new coilovers. Had I known it was that easy, I would have went that route.

Yes, that fixed the problem. It's not an eternal solution because the OEM bearings are plastic but it will last a few thousand kilometres
