I'm installing my second-hand MHP headers, and I did have to remove the two tin heat shields that guard the motor mounts to get them to fit. I just wrapped the tubes nearest the mounts with fiberglass header wrap, and am just hoping for the best. Has anybody had problems with their motor mounts on cars with headers, and what did you do to help the situation? Just by looking, I can't imagine many non-stock headers fitting in that area with the shields in place
