C63 Backup Camera Retrofit possible for 09 C63?
Anybody know if it is possible to OEM retrofit backup camera on an 09 C63? I know the 2010 is the first year it was available.
The installation of the backup camera would help my gf parking the car when she drives it

Camera A204 820 07 97
Wiring harness A204 440 49 08
Wiring harness A204 440 48 08
Voltage regulator A164 543 00 62
Handle strip A204 740 09 93

How much did it all cost? On my phone, lazy to look up pricing lol
also, don't we need a VIM module?
EDIT: camera alone is almost $700, i think i'll pass unless there's a 3rd party that'd work with the same setup?

Im not sure how much the mid city kit is. Im a big stickler for staying OEM on a lot of things.
Complete install cost about $340 on my end. I was only able to do this because I was able to locate a crashed C63 on ebay, message the member, and acquire the camera, voltage modulator box, and trunk trim piece for $300. Another $40 for the 2 OEM harnesses from the dealer.
All the parts new to retrofit will run someone $900+ from the dealer at wholesale I believe.

Yeah..$900 is way too much. I'd be willing to do $300-$400 on an OEM kit but I'd have to think long and hard since I've seen some decent aftermarket kits that can be done in the $100-$200 range if I'm not mistaken :/

Yeah up to you , I just like staying oem. But VIM is nice if you fiddle with navi while driving, want to watch movies etc.
