Golden Gate to Hollywood Rally 2013: The Video!
My buddy Nick flew out from DC to ride along with me on an exotic car rally from SF to LA last summer. He filmed nonstop with his iPhone and made a documentary about our experience in the process. He finally posted it to Vimeo yesterday! Also includes all the infamous unseen footage from when my (first) C63 burned to the ground!
Just something he made for fun Enjoy!

I'm surprised there wasn't anything there to protect cars from going into that ditch. I don't know the area though, so if it isn't a very traveled road then I'd get it.
GTR guys are lucky, that looked nasty

To be honest, even after watching the whole video and hearing your explanation about what might have caused the fire, I still find it confused to figure it out. Am I the only one feeling that way?
I thought a heat source with a very high temperature was needed to make a car burnt like that. Your speed before pulling over to the side was not crazy at all to get the brake disk overheated.
But hey, glad everybody survived.

Wow, thanks for sharing. Good thing you guys were right behind the GTR, otherwise, who knows what would have become of them.
Rallies are fun, but you always have to keep yourself in check. I know when I do them I get tempted to race with the guys going full tilt.

Amazing video. My praises go out to you for responding to the crash victims. I assume there were 2 people I the GTR. Video says the occupants survived with severe injuries, but your last post says that the driver walked away with no real injuries. Does that mean the passenger was severely injured? The only thing that matters is the health of everyone involved. All other property can, and sounds like it was, replaced. Thanks for sharing.
