I decided to go Quattro, but you can see where my heart truly lies...
When my C63 was totaled, I made the economical decided to not buy another It was time to stop commuting 100 miles in a Civic, keeping my C63 under a cover all week and only using it on the weekends due to the terrible gas mileage... so I got an Audi S5 when insurance made right on my totaled C63. Went down to 1 car instead of 2 and that was that...
But as you can see here, my heart is still with the AMG;

Any plans for the S5? A friend has one that looks great lowered on some wide wheels.
I have a thing for awkwardly shaped coupes like my old 1 series and there is just something about the s5/rs5 that catches my eye. The downshifts on the rs5 from the video posted on this forum not long ago are awesome as well.
Have fun with it!

Yes, the S5 / RS5 do look very good. In comparison, the C63 looks a bit aged - but just opinion.
Love the look and I love the DSG.
If in 6th gear, you can QUICKLY flick the paddles 3 times and be in 3rd gear - no lag or delay. The transmission is wonderful. "Okay" power, and great looks. Handling is "meh"... kinda boat like.
Plans - I'll probably keep it stock for a while. Lost a decent amount of cash when my 3 month old new 13' C63 was totaled

I actually enjoy how ridged the C63 is. Seems like most cars in general are moving towards a "bubbly" kind of look. I like the edgy-ness but that's just taste.
Sorry about the loss on the C. I understand that without going through a total loss but just switching cars too much.
That tranny, however, seems light years ahead with technology.

if the gas milage blew so bad, get a tune, it improves it quite a bit...besides you don't buy a C63 then worry about gas
about cornering...I swear 95% of humans are drunk, I've ripped my C63 down windy *** roads at 150 KM and it handled like a DREAM and these were roads I wouldn't ever dare attempt in anything else at those speeds. If it sucks at cornering they are probably using 215s on the front and 235s on the rear, so no **** it handles like crap, throw some beefy wide tires on and it will take anything

The S5 is a good looking car, fast enough, high quality build, nice tech & design, plus quattro is a real world advantage
Audi makes a great car (had an RS4 before the AMG for 80k miles)
it was down to the AMG and an Audi S6 (TT V8, very fast car)
but I like the visceral nature of the AMG and just wanted a change

We'll, all that matters is you were not hurt in the crash.
Certainly if you wanted to go Audi by choice, you would not have done it by crashing you C63 into a tree. That would be extreme. All is well, no need to be apologetic to this crowd; at least with me.

pictures don't do the RS7 justice, it looks very imposing on the road, very low and wide
fastbacks aren't everyone's cup of tea
a bunch of different pictures http://www.netcarshow.com/audi/2014-rs7_sportback/
