Okay what I basically like to figure out is, who of you actually really bought an preowned/ new C63 and is now willing to keep it for a long time. 10+ years.
How many of you are car jumpers, lease for a half year and jump afterwards to another one?
How many of you finance the car and really plan on keeping it forever?
Oh and some of you highrollers, who of you bought it ( without a loan) with knowing exactly not to keep it for a very long period?

i bought mine out 100%..but i also plan to keep mine for awhile..i'm not the kinda guy who sells cars every 3 months for a new one..but i do plan on upgrading to a 2014 or 2015 when my 09 hits around 150k-170k KM so theres still a few years left easily..it only has 55k right now

In 2013, MB payed off my BMW lease which had 10mos to go to get in the CPO'd C63 with 6900 miles. Very aggressive sales as they didn't add the amount of the payoff to the C63 finance. I plan on paying this off early and keeping it awhile since I have CPO warranty until 2015, and extended warranty through 2017.

I'm almost halfway through my lease and have recently been looking into what's out or coming out, I don't have room for a lot of cars so tend not to keep certain ones very long. Really looking forward to what the new C63 brings, and when/if they bring a coupe out.

Still paying it off at the moment(college graduates don't really make much ), but she's definitely a keeper. Long term goal is to have Weistec do essentially an engine rebuild using their ported heads, forged pistons, etc. when she hits 100,000 miles...granted all the engine components and electronics hold up nicely.

I always pick up my cars slightly used rather than brand new. I also subscribe to the philosophy of leveraging myself when possible. Ergo, I finance all my cars as my money outperforms the interest rates by leaps and bounds.

Bought it used in cash, I plan to keep it at least a year. Can't seem to ever keep a car for more than 2-3 years, just like trying out different cars.

2013 S63 AMG
I was looking to pick up a daily driver so I went to Carmax to grab something. Ended up with a 2011 Escalade truck but took it back 3 days later due to finding too many issues with it (all cosmetic).
Minutes after returning it, I was walking off the lot and spotted my first Mercedes, the 2010 C63. I bought it (financed) and have had it for about 6 or so months. However, since I recently boosted my Z06 I'm starting to drive that more (so much for the daily driver, lol).
As much as I like my C63 I'm considering upgrading (IF its really an upgrade) to a CLS63, CL550 (I'm OK with rocking a non-amg) or a ML63 AMG if I can find them at the right price.

MBWorld Fanatic!
Because cars are depreciating assets, and because I, like most people, enjoy trying something new every few years or so, I find leasing the most attractive option.

ford svt's, and C63!!!
C63's aren't too cool unmodded, so I bought ours so I could mod it. I don't think people who only own them for a short time, and would safely bet to say "probably won't upgrade or modify these C63's" aren't really seeing just how cool these cars can be with a little tinkering. The same thing applies to most cars as well though.
We bought our 2012 used last year with very low miles, and modified it as money allowed. Don't think I'll take it too much further than what it is now though. 15,000$ blowers aren't really my thing, hahaha. Especially when they look pretty similar to a 3,000$ blower I could buy for our Lightning.

Sold my soul to MB Finance for as long as they would let me. Plan to pay it off and keep it for as long as I can. Unless something better comes along of course.

Walked into a dealer in Cali while on a project and they had my car up front and center. Thought any used car in a mercedes showroom must be in good shape. Bought my 2008 with 9100 miles after two weeks of negotiating. Had shipping to ATL included, put half down and financed the rest. I hate selling cars, so I think I'll hang on to this one.
