oil temperature 165 C !!!!

hard to make out but the oil temp is 165 C (330 F) (I noticed it in an actual copy of the magazine)
cruising at ~160 mph, 7th gear, 4400 rpm
must not be an issue?
how do you get the oil temp to display like that?

the oil temperature is in the speedo display
right above the 'S' and beside the 280 kph marker
not a photoshop, and I can see it clearly in the actual magazine
165 C
below it is 159 mph
looks dang close to the RS4 for 160 mph, maybe 60-70 ft?

the oil is doing its job: removing heat
at 4400 and that speed the engine is making >80% continuous power/torque
bear in mind that is the SUMP temperature, not the temperature of the oil returning to the engine, it's much cooler, especially with 160 mph air flowing thru the cooler, lol
it's probably closer to 250 F, or lower

Indeed it is. Here's a pic of a pre-facelift C63. Clearly shows outside temperature in that location. I believe it was configurable to time, outside temp, and speed in that location, but not water/oil temperature.
The oil/water temp is in the center as shown in the above pic when the AMG menu is activated.
