Renntech WideBodys
US tuning company RENNtech recently shipped some equipment to One Hundred Tuning Club in Beijing, China. The result is clear to see from these pictures. Two Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG’s were fitted with a full wide body C74 conversion package.
Overall, the RENNtech Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG gets an increase in overall vehicle track width to 74 inches (hence the name). Each component is crafted in prepreg, autoclaved carbon fiber in either matte or gloss finish. The modifications include a rear deck lid spoiler, rear diffuser package, distinctive exhaust tips, front and rear fender flares and a wide body conversion kit.
These can run up to 11 inch wide rear wheels with a 315 series tire. Prices are in the region of $15,450 although you should contact RENNtech for a more accurate figure taking into account shipping.

There was one for sale here in Toronto a few months ago.
When I contacted them about the car, they told me it had a 30K body kit on it. LOL!
I seen this in person, its pretty bad in the flesh.

Very tacky
Looks like a $750 kit off ebay, definitely does not look like a $15K body kit lol

Since those appear to be "bolt" on flares what are they doing with the factory lip? I'd assume trimming it but what about the inner fender well... what would those fasten to?

I agree I think the CF looks ugly, but there is no welding needed and it is a easy way to fit a fatter tire in the back. I would by no means get the whole "kit" but I wouldn't mind seeing what the rear fenders look like painted black simply for fitting a wider tire in the back. I have been looking for ways to fit a bigger tire with out having to spend $10k++ on a body kit.

I can see the rear flares getting destroyed after the first dips at high speed on the freeway. It looks like the kit only get attached to the OEM fenders, so the clearance looks stock.
And those 360forged wheels will prolly get destroyed with the first potholes too. All show no go. LOL
