Need Advice: Tires (DC Area)
Folks,
Need your expert advice/tips.
Looks as if I now need to replace my rear tires. Would love some recommendations for local and/or Internet options.

Always bought my tires online, but if you go through rears quickly, I read about people buying Michelin Super Sports from any shop and if they need to be replaced within 10k miles, you get them replaced for free via warranty.

If you are checking prices look up Curry's Tire in Northern Virginia (not Leesburg). They have a good reputation and support Local car clubs. The Leesburg location is new.
I have used , Radial Tire Co. 9101 Brookville Road, Silver Spring, MD for tires for my BMW's when no one else had them in stock. There prices were comparable to Curry's and they also support the local car clubs. However, they do a large volume and you have to get there early. I would also strongly suggest seeing how they operate before committing. Because of their large volume, it's a little unsettling to see them in action if you are use to the slower pace and more personal attention of some of the other tire shops.

I can't say enough good things about Radial Tire in Silver Spring. I had 4k miles on my C63 and could not stand the stock tires. I called up, spoke to Sam and he made a fantastic recommendation.. Radial specializes in performance cars/tires....
