Or to show how realistic I am viewing it, I don't expect more gain that my 2010 and the tune that I had on it. He can only squeeze what he can out of the same engine, not matter what it came like from the factory. I totally get it. I saw value in the extra's and stupidly a wish and desire that the car would still be worth something and somewhat of a special breed in 10-15 years.

I hear ya man. Do you see what I'm saying?
I do see your point. The 507 definitely has some nice features (in addition to the more powerful factory tune) that a standard LCI model doesn't. The Black Series-style hood is enough to get one over the standard model (in my mind). Not to mention the wheels, forged internals, blacked out exterior trim pieces, etc.

If there would have been a 507 available in the color I was after when I was getting my C63, I would have opted for it.

I would've just skipped the tuning.

Yeah, I have already bought the tune, have the handheld OBD II, and Jerry charges a small fee to switch the tune to the other VIN. I might not gain HP, but the shift points are changed, so it's not really a waste of money in my case. I have a great relationship with him and will get some gain and sportier shifting. To be redundant, I'm realistic about the tune.

But you do have some good questions to raise and some valid points.

But yeah, the hood alone almost sold me. Since we've been spelling it out here I'll tell you. I bought it for the:

Black Series Hood
Special Wheels
Alcantara inserts
Alcantara steering wheel and shift knob

There, I've said it.

You made a very good choice with the Eurocharged tune. As I said earlier, that is the tune I chose to go with as well. From what I've heard, the quality and customer service is on par with other companies like RENNtech, Weistec, etc.

I lucked out and got the alcantara/DINAMICA inserts on the seats because I chose the black MB-Tex/DINAMICA seating package. I imagine that leather and DINAMICA feels even better.

And the alcantara shift knob with the Affalterbach crest is very nice. I ordered one from my parts department a while ago but have yet to install it.

This argument does not really involve me so as an outside observer I would have to say it appears you are stalking him since he was posting in this thread before you...just an observation.

You post the most immature and incomprehensible comments on the board, and even when you try to say something even remotely relevant it is usually wrong. Even if you did have some technical knowledge (which you don't), there is no way that you could have ever passed the ethics and professional concepts course that is a requirement in every single accredited engineering school in the US and Canada. I really fear for the fate of humanity if an engineering school allowed someone like you to even enroll, let alone graduate.

Now, please - PLEASE - stop behaving like a spoiled 5-year-old. You were already warned and yet you still continue with your drivel. Engineers are taught to learn from their mistakes, so please put that training you claim to have to some good use for a change.
