Resonator Deleted C63 Vid
Decided to delete the resonator, I had the same mod done to my M5, E55, E63, and now the C63.
Sounds much deeper and its still got the AMG bark and growl.
Love it, don't know if I want to delete the 2nd cat, since its loud enough now and I don't need any more power.
Sorry for the Upright Vid, will do widescreen next time.

So this is simply the resonator delete and no other mods at all? Does it affect the performance in a negative way at all? Would doing this mess up the warranty?
I would like to do it if it's only deleting the resonator and nothing else and doesn't screw up the warranty!

I can confirm that just resonator delete has no negative performance, as far as I know it shouldn't have complications with the warranty, but maybe check with your local dealer! it sounds good btw, I'm leaning towards a 2nd cat delete now as well, lol

Any of you with just resonator deletes. Would it be possible to get an in car video? Do any interior panels vibrate due to the delete?
I am considering this as well, it seems to be a nice mod.

I'm out of warranty due to age, I own a 2010 and the warranty expired Feb 1st 2014.
The car drives exactly as it did before, you cannot lose performance, the factory resonator is a straight through dual pipe box, which has a baffle to resonate the sound.
No performance loss. Nothing negative, all positive.

No vibrations, just badassery of a sound coming from your car, no drone, no problems, 100% positive. Deeper tone, no rasp.

Thanks for your responses. This is really tempting me now! I love the sound of our cars but I wouldn't mind just a little bit louder!
I hope to see more videos if you can make from different areas like inside the car and outside and driving if possible?
So the process is simply to delete the resonator from the exhaust and connect the pipes? Do we need to order any other extra parts?
Videos are never 100% accurate and that's my only concern. I don't want the car to start sounding obnoxiously loud or like a fart can!

Straight piping your resonators is fairly simple. They cut off your stock resonator and weld in a straight stainless steel pipe.
Its not a costly job (no more then 100 bucks)
You can revert back to stock if you wish, just re-install your stock Resonator.

I am hoping that more people with just the resonator delete mod can post video clips so I can hear it and make my decision. Like I said, don't want it getting obnoxiously loud that it becomes an issue driving it all the time. That's what ended up happening to my 350Z when I straight piped it!

Resonator delete only, is not obnoxiously loud, its just a little louder then stock, I daily drive my car with it and sounds fine inside the car, no drone or rattles or anything like that!

I have a MHP tune on mine (only found out from Roswell who knew the previous owner) apparently has an X-Pipe also but car is so low I can't see if it's still there. If it's the stock resonator I will remove it, I also have K & N filters on there way. I will post vids at some point. Just with my MHP tune the car is at a whole other level. K & N s are said to make 10whp and the x-pipe should make another 10-15. FYI K & N filters will only run you $100-200 depending where you live and where you get them but for 10whp that's a great mod.

As far as I know, you barely lose any tq/hp taking out the resonator. But I am 100% sure you do lose a little.
Also I think i read somewhere that the 2ndary cat delete will pass emission tests, but the primaries definitely wont. Don't take my word for it though, do a little research.
