Saying hello to the forum and posting a picture of my red/blk 507

Stock car other than the removed stripes and tint. Next up should be a set of HRE P101s.

Awesome and congrats....I have the same color/wheel combo in the coupe and pulled the stripes off mine as well.

Looks great. And I agree it looks better without the stripes. Dunno what AMG was thinking when they put those on.

Love the clean look w/o the decals.

P101 are very similar to the 507 stock wheels. What finish are u going for?

I think the decals look good (they offer nice contrast, especially on Iridium Silver cars). The car looks equally good without them.

I agree. I like the decals bc they remind me of the Porsche gt3rs and the older 911s with decals. of course since I have a "regular" c63, I also love the no-decal look as well. I just love the c63 in any form. lol.

Very easy. They literally just peel off. I think the trick to taking them off cleanly is to take them off when you first get the car.

But if not, just start picking at one corner with your fingernail and they will start to come off, just like any other sticker or decal. I took mine off at the dealership before any miles were put on it. I knew that I didn't want them off the bat. If you have any trouble, just use your fingernail and some Goo-gone. And if you have put several miles on it, I would suggest you do it with Goo-gone(or some other type of adhesive remover) at a carwash or with your car-washing "stuff" out and ready at your house.

I do like it in the red, with or without the stripes. I do have to say, the white NEEDS the stripes! Too boring without them. Someday down the road I want to get mine painted another color, not sure if I'd put the stripes back on (maybe get them painted), or not.

Thanks for the kind words everyone! Some of the other colors look good with the stripes, but not on the red.

I am thinking of sticking with the black satin P101s since I really like the look of the car the way it is. Just need to get some real wheels and tires under it and maybe drop it a little.

The 507 wheels will be staying with me for resale.
