The nice thing about the Volk Nuts are they have a heptagonal cover over every single nut. Adds a bit more security + You can choose your preferred colour.
I actually like the sound as is, Its still refined. Perhaps my Reso delete will sound a bit different compared to most members as I also have the Renntech Intake. That intake alone made the car sound like a beast. The gurgles and roar are amazing.

Thanks buddy, figured I would try the resonator delete first. Its not difficult to remove the cats if I really wanted to. I didn't want any drone, no matter what I heard on the internet I wanted to make sure for myself. So I simply started from the reso's.

COILOVERS INSTALLED!
Another update fellas,
Coil Overs installed, literally just got back from the shop. Rocco @ RMP in Etobicoke has always worked on my cars. Such a meticulous guy recommend him for any general maintenance etc on your MB's.
Sorry for the Iphone pics, Im still at the office.
NO RUBBING!
NO Fender mods (no rolled fenders etc)
Im 6'1 240 LBS my Co-Worker is 5'9 200 LBS and I have 60 LBS of Stock suspension in the trunk. Not a single rub and I was pretty heavy on the gas. Next set of Tires I'm going to upgrade to a 265 Wide Rear.
As a recap wheel specs as follows:
Front - 19 x 8.5 ET30 Offset - 225/35/19 Yokohama Advan Sport tires
Rear - 19 x 9.5 ET 44 Offset - 255/30/19 Yokohama Advan Sport tires
Car is Lowered 1.5 Inches upfront and 1.25 in the rear.
I will probably end up rolling the front fenders and squeeze in a 235/35/19 when it comes time to replace the tires.

Looks awesome man... tires are a bit stretched out back but nothing too extreme. Get the rest of the mods on and some decent pics up asap. ![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
I put my summer wheels/tires on this weekend as well, just need to be careful tomorrow...

For sure, hope to have the car completed for this season in 2 weeks.
Next - Painted side markers / New Spoiler and diffuser and possibly new mirror covers.
Rears have minimal stretch, not much at all actually. But I can definitely stick a 265 in the rear next time around.

Looks great Kriston, although the drop is very conservative ! Great choice on the wheel color.

Hehehe I knew you would look for an even lower drop. Give it a few days it will settle in. By the time I take some real photos of the car you will see.
PS: Im an Index finger between the tire and Fender. The car was setup for all around drivability, did not want to forego ease of driving for a really low drop. 1.5 and 1.25 is good. Gives the car enough room for suspension rebound even on full bottoming out it does not rub, and of course the Stance is a heck of a lot meaner now.

if you can stick a finger between your tire and fenders it's not low enough :P Still worlds better than stock height!
and if you get 265s next time around it'll look lower since the tire will be slightly taller

I hear you bro,
Im not sure if I want to go lower right now. lets see, perhaps later this summer.
I'm actually looking forward to how well the car handles, post install. Cant wait for a nice dry day to put her to work
The weather looks pretty horrid over the next little while.
I will more then likely corner balance the car later this month after the springs etc settle in. They drop a few more MM after a week or so.

You can definitely put 265 tires in the rear. Front is flush with that +30 offset! I doubt you can put 235 there without rubbing...

Good height bro, I say keep it man! I'm sure your wife + baby rides in it so this is good! I'm in same boat as you now as well , wanted to keep comfort and driveability of the car as much as possible. lol the days of our BMW modding styles are over!

Ben, you are right man.
With a little girl and wife, I don't want to slam the car. Its still elegant enough to take a client out for lunch and not feel ashamed there sitting on the floor.
As much as I would lower it more, I want to enjoy it as well. Lets see how the springs settle in. I can lower it in about 45 minutes. Its not hard.

Oh yah for sure, it settles in a few MM after the install. Once its all settled I will be getting the car corner balanced to ensure driving height is exact on all 4 corners.

How would you compare the coil overs against lowering springs?
I for one have always enjoyed the rigid, more aggressive, not so plush feeling that springs give you. Do you find these to be fairly rigid, or are they somewhat plush compared to springs?
