Odd thing I've noticed while shopping c63s
In my search for a pre owned c63 I have noticed a few cars for sale do not have painted/tinted headlights. It was my understanding that the AMG headlamps were painted or blackened inside to differentiate the appearance. Was this not the case in certain model years?
If the car has the unpainted light housings should this cause concern that it was replaced as a result of damage?

Those ones do not have the "lighting package". They come with halogen headlights instead of the projector xenons. You can retrofit them, but it's a bit pricey.
Also, I think in some of the earlier cars (maybe still to this day actually), the xenon lighting came in a package with the leather memory seats. I may be wrong on that account though.

Neither of those cars have Xenons. Especially the 2nd link, you can see the lights are on (Halogen)
But also, You know if a car has factory xenons, as it will also have headlight washers.

For MY08-2010 Cars with the P02 PKG came with xenons and the rear window sunshade as well as everything in P01 PKG. Ones that the OP had in autotrader are both just P01 cars. For MY11 and up PKG319 Lighting PKG gives the xenons.

OK that makes sense regarding the lighting package.
As someone else had mentioned, I thought it was a given that an AMG would have HID's. Both my '04 and '07 Acuras have them.
