What's it worth 2008 C63 with only 400 miles!

seals dry out, belts crack, tires crack and get dry..engines need to move, hence if you leave most cars for 6+ months sitting without being turned on they kinda sound/run/smell like **** for a few hours atleast in my experience

two scenarios i see
car is mothballed so lots of money will be required to bring it back up.
car's odo has been rolled back.
however, it does have 400 miles on it and the owner could have driven it about 1 mile every week for the past 6 years to keep it going (still not a good scenario) ... so who knows
i would go back and say.. you'll buy it at 40k if he lets you track it one day and if it holds up

It is a mechanical piece of engineering, not a person, without starting the car, fill with 20 gallons of fresh fuel, fire it up and drive easy for 20-50 or so miles, pay 40K cash in hand and enjoy your new car. Got a 72 Dodge Challenger with 6000 miles in 30 years, starts every time, replaced the brake calipers and booster 10 years ago. Last year valve cover gaskets (cork), new carb last year. Tires were 1992 Michelin Sports, finally cracked and replaced last year.
There are guys driving these cars that are not even that old
Enjoy it, the only downside I see is no warranty, but like everything buyer beware.

A person is able to regenerate and heal. A car isn't. And, a C63 is not exactly a 1972 Dodge Challenger. For starters, it's only about 5000 times more complex. On a mid-80's 911 there's very little that could go wrong, I could tackle almost any issue myself, and parts are both cheap and plentiful. On a 1998 996 I would hardly know where to begin.
I have a really good deal on some real estate in Florida for you if you're interested!

Sorry my friend I agree to disagree. If it was Alabama you would have a deal To give professional opinion though I would have to see the car in person, as I stated buyer beware is top priority. There are cars listed for sale all over and if you look carefully at these carfax reports some will have run through the auction numerous times, this tells me that there is accident or collision damage that goes undisclosed as the owner/insurance co/ or numerous dealers dumps it to auction and the evidence of money spent in repairs is gone. The way it sounds or we like to believe is that this car is or has been kept in a climate controlled environment, stored inside, covered and cherished for some unknown reason. Seeing would be believing. IMO
As stated no warranty is the big let down but if warranty could be purchased this would sweeten the deal. 40K max

Yup, I bought this car and IM so glad that I did! Everything checks out fine, as confirmed by the dealership as I just had Service A completed. Oil change, brake fluid and coolant flush done, 2 recalls completed on the car. All the seals, hoses, belts, everything was checked, nothing was deteriorating or cracking or drying out. Looks like a majority of you guys went against buying this car, but that's quite alright, Im happy with the purchase, got a hell of a deal on it as well. Im obv out of warranty on the car, but besides maintenance cost, the car should hold up for awhile, hopefully

Excellent!
I hear the negative feedback of what could be, but even over the course of 6 years, and being garage kept, the car was take out here and there as well as exposed to humidity. It wasn't left in the sun and weathered in the elements. Bet you got a great car.
These cars are built like tanks with high quality mechanicals and materials under extreme tolerances.
Enjoy the break in and baby her for the first thousand miles.
