Differences in tunes...
08 E63, ready to get it tuned. My question is what/is the major difference between going with a weistec, renn, eurocharged or logic lab?
They're all rated pretty much the same gains but prices range quite a bit.
Thanks in advance...

Stick with the first 3. They are proven to have good gains and not blow things up. I have the EC v4 tune and love it. Keep in mind you won't gain nearly as much as a C63. Your gains will be more along the lines of a 507 getting a tune.

When coming down to just a tune, there is not much difference between those vendors. Eurocharged and OE Tuning have handheld tuners that utilize the OBDII port so you can flash and flash back whenever you want. The other tuners you have to ship your ECU for bench flashing.
Personally, I've had OETuning on both my AMGs and they have supported me in both ventures on my cars.

Im in Houston so clearly Euro & Logic are extremely convenient & I wouldn't need a handheld...
Ive heard a ton of great things about Euro & I had a e92 335i couple years back with a Logic tune on it, was a quick little car.
Mainly curious if its paying for name more then the actual tune though?

Also when shopping for a tune, make sure to look for active members on the board (we have 5 accounts), the warranty of the product (we have one of the best in the industry), and how many happy customers you see posting on the forums!
If you have any questions please let us know!

Bench flashing (Renntech,Weistec,Kleeman) vs OBDII flashing (OETuning, Eurocharged) is debatable. I would go to whomever is easily accessible to you locally.

Eurocharged here. Haven't installed it yet (but I'm about to now that the weather has turned for the better). Was happy with the actual purchase experience.
Will have more to say about post-sales support, ease of installation, and performance soon. Expecting good/big things across the board!
