HAHA just a joke view my previous post ! He thought he was right and thought hed be witty and call me "little brother"

I proved him wrong on both accounts of my c63 beating a FBO Alpha-N v10 M5 on video and that my post he brought up from months ago were actually respectful and trying to be helpful unlike SMP arrogant "look at me im the best" attitude. So now he has been demoted to "my son" status LMAO

Exactly pretty close considering its N/A c class AMG vs Biturbo 5 series M

Now at the time I raced the f10 m5 I had Long tube headers, underdrive pulley, intake and tune. Its not far fetched that I pulled on a stock f10 m5 that only had an axle back. But SMP does have one thing I don't have cooled and massaged seats ! Shame on me I spoil my kids

Gotcha
He does have a tendency to be smug, arrogent, elitist and all knowing
He thinks posessions correlate to knowledge, some how superior
His opinion trumps numbers, fact and even video proof lol
A legend in his own mind

Exactly ! If only we could all be as cool as him and have an f10 m5 as a "beater" while being a expert on the road course and knowing everything about every platform even when hard facts and video proof say otherwise. He must be the savior
I think that last line says it perfectly and we can move on here LOL

It must be a burden to be perfect
Some people WANT to be like that, they think it's 'power' and some how elevates them

Humbleness and thougtfulness will never be his problem

Quote: I love the stingray ! Interior is a totally different level than the c6 much more polished and not a parts bin mash up. The handling has also been significantly upgraded z51 stingrays have been measured to pull amost 1.1G of lateral grip imagine what the z06 will do with 4 inch wider fender, new track suspension, and super wide 335 R compound tires. The exterior looks take getting used to its def not classical vette but I can see how it can turn people off. But when you look at performance which is why the car is bought its much better than the base c6
That's what i was trying to say. I would take the technologies of the new am place it in the C6.

What I learned from this thread:

We can justifiably compare a FBO E60 m5 to a C63.
We can also justifiably compare a Z06 to an E60 m5 or a C63.
The f10 m5 is a road course monster, and also a beater.
Video proof is not valid.
All cars with the same tune must dyno at the same exact numbers.
Because a tune is less aggressive it is garbage.
Because I own cars x,y, and z I am all that is man and can drive better than you.
We can drive at 185mph on the street and sleep well at night.
And physics doesn't apply.

Ok sweet, got it. Very informative thanks for all the information guys!

Well this can be somewhat justifiable since you're not showing decimal places. If you were to share this info and the decimal places read .5 following your 1's, for each, then it would equal 3...
Always an angle and everyone's self entitlement heightens their sense of empowerment making them think everyone cares what they have too say.
There is one among us that really chaps my *** from time to time but I am just another member on here so I never bother.
What's the point?

Hahaha I hate you so much right now.

There really is a lot of good stuff on this board. I'm just saying that you unfortunately need to do a lot of sifting sometimes to get to it.

could equal
00000010 (base 2) lol

but I get your point
2 'Ring times from a respected source by the same driver, one who is better than we will ever be and has run 1000's of laps show they are essentially equal (actually the C is 4 sec faster than the F10 M5, but within a reasonable margin of uncertainty), but yet, the M is MUCH faster

this is a high speed power track 13 miles long with an average speed close to 100 mph with dozens of corners

Wait, what?

1 PLUS 1 does EQUALS 3...I knew it!

They flunked me out of school for nothing...that's it, I'm going back to HS and demand for an official HS diploma and toss my GED.

All joking aside, yes, people will argue over dumb stuff. To me, it seems that it happens because people get caught up and fall in love with certain brands which can sometimes cloud their global perspective.

And sometimes ego gets in the way of common sense and so on...but that is human nature. People argue over religion, politics, sports, booty over ***** or ***** over booty and so on...cars are not different.

I had a E60 M5 for 8 months. Its top end is incredible. The C63 feels faster though. Likely cause of torque

Had a E60 M5, the top end is ridiculous, especially when tuned. But a FBO C63 is just as fast if not faster, be a good race.

Side note, the car (M5) was horrible over all, big, blocky, droned, and the SMG kept it in the shop. Tossed it in the trash for a E63 and never looked back.

I currently owed both.

Picked up the current loaded E60 M5 shortly after Mercedes purchased back my '08 E63 due to repeated lifters issues. Years later, we purchased a clean low mileage '09 C63.

Both have minor mods - BOTH TUNED by OE Tuning. Both Sprintbooster.
M5: CF removed, K&N filters, Rpi scoops and Magnaflow mufflers.
C63: CF removed, K&N filters, H-pipe (front resonator delete).
Both cars for me have been rock solid...no issues with neither one.

At low speeds (60 mph or less), the C63 jumps out hard, but keep your foot in it and the M5 makes up ground around 120 or so and then begins to walk away. If I leave the M5 on P500, races are pretty even, but when I choose P500S (M-button) - M5 wins hands down.

The torquey C63 is a little more fun during stoplight to stoplight scenarios, but the M5 gearing and willingness to rev makes up for lack of TQ. At high hwy speeds (80pmh and above), the M5 is a beast, it just keeps pulling and pulling on the big end.

Both cars are great, I like them both for what they are, but if I had to choose one to live with everyday, the M5 will be the winner due to its overall package. Meaning, it can be as simple as a sports package 530i when running on P400 with soft supension & soft shift logic settings, but a monster when you choose P500S. My '09 C63 does not give you such options and other ammenities vs. the M5.

Maybe a better comparison would be a 507 C63 vs the E60 M5.
