Bad oxygen sensor bank 1, sensor 1???

Bad oxygen sensor bank 1, sensor 1???
Car threw a check engine light and the error says o2 bank 1 sensor 1 is bad. What side of the engine is this on? I know that it is the upstream sensor, just not sure if it is the drivers side or passenger side. Thanks in advance.

Unplug one sensor and see what code/bank it says was unplugged.

I think 1 is driver but I can't remember for sure.

ya'll thought wrong. right side if your sitting in the car. left side if you were staring at the engine. - i see your in maryland so yes passenger.

Thank you so much! I looked at the engine and thought that cylinder one was on the passenger side of the car but I wanted to make sure. Thanks again!
