Keeping the Classic C63 Wheel Design in a 19 in
I like the design of the 18 in wheels already on the C63.
Saving a little money and planning on some mods.
I want to convert to the carbon ceramic brakes and thus 19 inch wheels.
I want to keep the same design. Is it available?
I figure the lighter and much better carbon ceramics will take a lot of unsprung weight off and hel acceleration and braking from the reduction, to say nothing of life of the rotors and stopping power.
Next is engine tune. i like where it is right now but....Too much power is just about right.
The prices quoted by the big tuners are just atmospheric from here.
Will have to do some shopping. Larger bore better valves and ports or heads and so on.
The E63 rear end and may have to revert to the six speed for strength.
An coolers for differential and bigger coolers for engine and trans.
I would like to keep the cost to no more than 75,000.
Really like dry sump design.
I will end up still shy of the cost of the SLS etc and way more power. Tire size may up the cost as the big tuners are the only ones doing fenders right.

The average I/Q is 100
So as many below as above
And the marque of car one owns doesn't change the stats
The op's post is not well crafted and immature
So what
Where is the understanding, compassion and tolerance??
Better to be a poor writer and immature than a mean spirited , jaded and miserable douche bag
The ratio of miserable ****s around here is quite high

I would never mock poor writing.
On the other hand, expressing that a tune is too expensive so instead he'll replace the AMG valve train with something better and convert to dry sump plus swap out the transmission in a car that's run by computers -- well, that's not poor writing.

I said poor writing and an immature approach
But it ia apparent you may fit the label you called him
Yes, everyone who demeaned and ridicuded him is a pompous douche bag
And a special class of db is reserved for your ilk who tries to misconstrue intent to justify your own db'ness

To OP. You should search for the threads about DADS C63 or Keith's C63. He was a trailblazer for modding his C63. Sounds like you could learn from his process.
Also, JRCart had a lot of work done by Weistec. Not sure what the total cost was, but they built him a car that is epic...simply epic.

I said she was dead
It responded to your comment
The dead don't call
People ridicule a guy with a medical issue
Call him a drug addict
You are a sad little person
You think you are a superior human
You are a pathetc example of the species

Although I'm sure you've put other 'things' in it
I meant puss, as in face
I'm sure you get plenty
All you have to do is stick your hand down your pants
So the mettle of a man is how much strange he gets?
Your values are screwed up more than you
Main Entry: puss
Function: noun
Etymology: Irish pus mouth
Date: circa 1890
