It is louder when giving it gas & WOT, still retains the signature AMG growl especially if you're using straight pipes. Like other members have said, when you're cruising or on C mode its not loud at all and best of all there is zero drone with this mod.
Just deleted the secondary cats for now, but I might do the resonators too in the future. Went to a family friends shop in San Mateo, the only thing is they won't do it for you unless they know you, but I can meet you up there to have it done if you really want to. Just gotta get my car up and running first lol & yep I did have a IS350 for a while on ClubLexus

Can you still make theses pipes, Mike?
QUOTE=Mikegpr03;6039711]Hello gents I currently have 2 units
Yes you can go to a shop and get a $70.00 job on your 60K car
You will get regular aluminized pipe ( not OEM quality ) and it will have regular bends as well ( kinks ).
I make stainless steel same grade as OEM with stainless Vands so you bolt on and off for such issues as inspection / off road use.
Hope this help
End of the day if you don't care what goes on your car then it's your call.
You get what you pay for.[/QUOTE]

Hi
I am very new to the AMG world. Just bought a 2009 W204 C63 AMG.
I want to delete my secondary catalyst with straight pipe and keep the resonator stock. What all companies make such pipes. My local muffler shop can do it but I was thinking of getting a good quality pipe pre fabricated and getting it installed to stay neat under body. Can you guys suggest some vendors.
Thanks

Are the secondary cats anything more than bottle resonators? I took mine out and they did seem to restrict a lot of flow but they look exactly like bottle resonators with perforations.
