FL cluster installed.
Suspension KW V3 installed.
Some fat for non rust.
Cluster is working perfect, no error. Mileage is correct, also alle service intervalls.
The fl cluster didn`t fit into my dashboard.
First try - use the fl cluster (inner life) and the pre fl case.
Worked great, but the sign for turn lights are on the pre fl case.
But the fl cluster has the sign in the cluster! So i had the sign twice.
Didn`t like it.
So we found a not used GLK fl cluster. It has the same case but without the sign
Now everything looks perfect, i am happy
fl cluster with my old pre fl case
fl cluster with glk fl case
suspension
some fat
Ok so I see this is the post you were talking about I read it kind of hard for me to grasp.
So it is plug and play for the dash just need to to code the millage correctly how hard is that to do? I didn't even know that would be legal lol
I wasn't aware that you could change the millage on the odometer, that was all.
So, if I understand this right...
Purchase a new GLK 2012 (or face-lift) instrument cluster and plug it in and the millage should just transfer? But if I get a used one I will have to re-code the millage back to the prior dash?
@C SEXY 3 I don`t know if GLK cluster will work...i installed a c class amg cluster. I used only the frame from the glk cluster. If the mileage won`t transfer you have to code it.
@sean I use an old Canon 550d with the regular kit objective (18-55)
I am looking to get a new camera...
I am sad as well i had to sell the car, but i have private reasons for it. Otherwise i would never sell my C63 - except for changing to a newer AMG model.
For the next 1-2 years this CL is the perfect car for me. We`ll see what happens after this time
The OZ Ultraleggera HLT wheels looked amazing on your car, did you use spacers with them?
I would like to know why you went for wheel sizes 8.5J in the front and 9J at the rear, because it makes sense to me to go 9.5J for the rear as well so that the wheels will be half an inch wider front and rear and 245 width tyres can be used at the front and 265 width for the rear.
Do you perhaps know if the Ultraleggera HLT will fit the W204 C63 using 8.5J front and 9.5J rear wheels with the standard OZ wheel offsets?
