507 on the dyno
I have an appointment next Friday but I am curious if anyone have put their 507 on the Dyno?
I am very curious to see the numbers...
If this has been talked about before, sorry.

Try to dyno it with and without the charcoal filters. I have the 2014 C63 AMG Edition 507 Coupe with the performance media. It measures horsepower in a scale from 0 to 507 HP. It didn’t mattered in what gear it was, the needle never got past 480 HP. I thought that the “507" was just hype, and that there were no real difference between the P31 and our 507’s. It really frustrated me. I tried different gasoline octane ratings from 91 (The most common were I live) I tried 93 and up to 100 octanes. No difference at all. With 100 octanes, I felt the car was having poorer performance and the sound decreased considerably (480HP tops). In my frustration I decided to delete the carbon filters, not before reading all the CEL horrors in this forum. Believe me, It took me a lot of hesitation before I made the decision and Baaaammm!!!!!!! What a difference! The car now feels and sounds as the proper monster it is. Now it pegs that little needle into the red after the 507 mark and stays there for a while until next gear is engaged, gear after gear. Needless to say: “I am in AMG Nirvana now”.
PS. I am using 93 octane gasoline exclusively now, and yes, I know that AMG performance media is not a substitute for a real Dyno. However it let me see that there was a real measurable difference between "before and after" the charcoal delete. Now is your turn "Big.B" to give us the real dyno results.

ya i would take that hp gauge lightly. floor the car in manual mode in a high gear and it will hit 400hp no problem at like 2k rpm which i can promise you it isn't making. It's just for show. The telemetry on the other hand is whats useful.

A while ago, a member took his 507 to the dyno. Here is the post: https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-amg-w...tion-dyno.html
Definitely post up your results once you get them. It will be interesting to see! I'm sure many are looking forward to seeing your results.

Bad news boys,
After getting my car prepped and ready to start the first run on the dyno this morning they realized their dyno was flooded... Unfortunately there has been a lot of rain here and it looks as the rain found its way into the dyno. As soon as the tech started to accelerate the dyno started splashing water everywhere. I have rescheduled in two weeks.
