Question about mct

Hi

I have about 600 miles on my 14 e63s and I'm really enjoying it

In comfort mode when the radio is off and I can hear a pin drop, when gently accelerating from a stop I hear and feel a vibration seemingly from the front if the car .. Like something is engaging ... The wet clutch maybe? The rest of the acceleration is perfect and I just want to know if this is normal mct behavior as I've always had traditional super smooth transmissions in the past

In s or s+ it occasionally happens but since the car starts in first gear, it's much more of a quick and brief vibration/grinding etc.

My hunch is that this is normal and all other shifting is super smooth and just want to get your input, i appreciate it!

I'm just wondering if this should belong in the W204 C63 forum. I know we also share the MCT but the E63S all wheel drive is an entirely different animal with the AWD.

GL with your question OP.

When you say you feel a vibration where do you feel it, through the steering wheel? We need more info, your description of what you are experiencing is quite vague. It could simply be the 4-matic diff fully engaging power to the front wheels I suppose.

what your describing sounds pretty normal. The mct does have that smooth liquidy feel like a torque converter because its not fluid friction, it's literal clutch packs engaging.
