This is indeed what the manual states for my '14 C63. ESP is separate from "traction control", and ESP can be set to normal, sport or off. But traction control is independent. I don't know how to do dyno mode, and it's great everyone can do burnouts, but the manual states that traction control is different as stated above. Take a look. Not an engineer nor Merc expert so not sure how they differ or relate, but that's what I read.
