Yesterday there was a dyno day in Melbourne so I though I would attend and run up some numbers
I was very surprised and nt really happy my car oe tune ipe headers standard rear half only made 297rwkw
Another coupe same mods just ceramic coated headers made 310rwkw
I'm pretty disappointed at the out come
My car has been siting around for nearly 4 weeks not started or anything and the fuel that I had in the tank had 10% ethanol and that has only been in the tank for 4 weeks
Do you think that could be why my car is down on power
On the way there my friend was driving cause I don't have a license and he didn't really thrash the car or anything
But on the way home I made him give it a bit and it felt really strong
I don't know what else it could be
They gave it 3 runs and every run was getting better and better but they stopped because it was getting a bit hot
Any input would be greatly appreciated

Why does your signature say 330rwkw?
Was this the same dyno as before with the same mods?
I wouldn't really worry too much about it honestly.

Look I agree totally ^^^ I'm going back to the track to just double check but I just found it really weird same set ups fair difference
So do you think leaving it sit around with crap fuel for 3 weeks could be a issue??

Just not driving it hard could be. Car is constantly adjusting trims to how you are driving it. You would've probably been better off driving it hard to the dyno, letting it cool, then strapping it down.
I wouldn't say bad gas either. You said it even felt fine afterwards. And lastly, all dyno's are going to read differently.
At the end of the day your car sounds fine and you shouldn't worry about anything. Just drive it harder.

I suspect a large portion of the difference is the dyno. I think you mentioned your previous numbers were from a Dyno-Dynamics unit which are more "friendly" than the Mainline. It has been my experience that the Dyno-Dynamics are fairly similar to the US Superflow & Mustang dynos.
In addition to all the good comments above, heat-soak into the CF air-boxes probably didn't help.
Your track times verify that the dyno numbers from yesterday are conservative. I doubt there is any real power difference from the first time you had it tested ... your car is strong.

My before and after dyno. So simillar numbers to yours on wheels. But have to say that every time we put a car on a dyno you can see different number So i think in your case its ok even if the numbers a low like a stock car
the only thing im sure is that car pulls much better on a road then the stock one

If you do that take a half-dozen full throttle runs after to take advantage of full timing advance. I've been told that even 1-2º of extra advance can make a huge difference.
