I'm currently experiencing the same problem too (no CEL).
Has anyone solved this problem yet?

uc63ry, the sound is similar, and it does intensify when accelerating just like yours, but mine is more high pitched. I will try to record in the next days.

Hey! Your sound is definitely a family member of mine, yours is very high pitched, while mine is more hollow, but the character seems the same. What was causing that whistling and how did you resolve it?

So my friend has a 2009 C63 with 12,000 miles on it, he just recently purchased the car last month. Last week, he got Service A completed on the car and after a few days, he started up the car at cold start-up and there was a high-pitched whining noise coming from the engine, definitely not normal. He told me the car still drives fine and everything and that noise goes away after about 20 seconds after start-up. After a few hours, the check engine light came on.. So he took the car back to the dealership and telling them about that noise, kind of hinting that they caused this issue since they just serviced the car. They ran a diagnostics and they said it was throwing some very odd codes and they werent able to pinpoint the issue.
They told my friend that it had something to do with a start-up code for the engine and that they had re-programmed everything on the engine and restarted the computer. The service advisor told my friend that judging by the sound my friend described, it could be a bad air pump? But he wasnt sure, so all they did was re-program everything and the check engine light was gone. They didnt charge my friend anything and then this morning that high-pitched whine came back, but so far no check engine light on. Also if he turns off the engine and starts it again, there is no high-pitched noise, it only happens at cold start-up in the morning. So my friend is going to record that sound tomorrow morning and take it to the dealership so that they can hopefully hear it and determine what it is.
Do any of you guys have any idea what it could be? Any help would be greatly appreciated! My buddy is very worried. Thanks

Might as well bump this thread as well.
AMG893/Anatoli, did you get this sorted? I have the same sound on cold. Will hear it come on then off, BUT when it's hot, it's on constantly.
Below is after a commute home with it hot.

You posted the vid below with the vacuum cleaner sound mentioned. It's too difficult to tell if it's the same sound. I don't think it is after having a good listen to mine yesterday.

Re-torqued all the IM bolts, noise still exists. Seems to be coming from the pass side near the middle of the IM.
Maybe the TB housing seal inside the IM?

Hi Guys,
i Have bought a ml63 from Mercedes about a month ago and has always made a Buzzing sound, I took the car to Mercedes and they said the sound is normal, The sound is really annoying, to be honest it takes the fun out of driving it. Please Help!!Any Ideas

That sound is NOT normal. Likely either PCV, IM gasket, or both. I would force them to change both it since it should have been addressed before your purchase.

i had the exact same sound. 3 of the 10 intake manifold bolts weren't even finger tight. Pretty much just wiggling about. (it was throwing bank 1 lean codes too) Stupid aluminum bolts. I tightened them up and everything was fine for about 400 miles and now it's doing it again. I have new bolts now, just need to find some time and a place to replace them.

So I took my car to MB they had a look at it and the said the air pump was fine, the problem was leaking intake manifold gasket its getting changed now, hopefully it will be fixed!!

Engine light on (PO10B)
Hi Guys,
I recently got my intake manifold gasket done and a day later the engine light comes on, i took it to a local shop and the error came up as (The measured left air mass is implausible compared to the position of the throttle valves(p010B)
Please help !!
