My gut feeling is the dealer you went to didn't tune your car... Even if the tune was weak and only managed half of what eurocharged claims... you should still trap better.

No worries. So many variables in play here it could be anything, tune related or not. Glad to see you are on top of it though. You guys are one of the few good tuners remaining out there so OP should rest easy.

I am leaning that way as well....as it should be a night and day difference

he had it done at a dealer

This is a perfect example of why I always like to get a baseline dyno figure before starting on mods. It is nice to be able to see how much power a specific mod netted you.

The good news is Eurocharged is a reputable tuner and will get to the bottom of it if there is any issue with the tune. You are in good hands.
agreed! We will make sure it's right!

It's kinda difficult to tell, unless you have had enough seat time with your car in stock form. But, a few WOT runs would be able to confirm so difference. Plus, the increased throttle response and harder shifts.

More power would yield a higher trap speed and lower ET.

His trap is lower than stock... that means less power.

Went from a nonPP (451hp) C63. Had the car for two years like this. Put the V5 tune, after driving it for an hour, I could tell that after 2000~ rpm there is a surge of more power there than there was before.

Definitely could tell. Especially nonPP to tune.

We already went over this. That was my mistake. I was looking at the times and not traps. After all, it is plausible to have more power and be slower. But, as mentioned over and over, you'll trap higher.

Anyway, this should be a simple case of the car simply wasn't tuned properly.

I would say possible that you dont have the tune properly installed. With tune you should notice more power after 5000rpm as well as harder shifts.

Well...does it go 280km an hour in about <15 seconds? If so..it's tuned..Not sure why you wouldn't just use the handheld and tune it yourself..takes <3 minutes

Downshifts will sound like this also on V5, also theres 0 wait time, the second it's done writting is when it's tuned.

depends on the road/conditions/how you start...i hit 200km in 8-9 seconds ..i've hit just under 300 in around 20-ish, mine isn't stock though ..i should have said <20 seconds..would be more realistic for most

I had the exact same problem my 13 coupe. I took it to a very high end tuner near me just to use the dyno because I really couldn't feel a difference. Guess what, no difference with tune or without except the speed limiter had been removed. Talked to eurocharged for hours, refreshed 10 times, shop tried flashing. Always seemed like it took but never changed the ecu.
Eurocharged admitted there a certain cars that for some reason will not program. They gave up and we're nice enough to give me my money back. Ended up taking it to renntech. They programmed it out of the car and dyno tuned it with no problem. Looks like u have one like me that doesn't like the handheld.

Trust me a tune only C is not going to go 175mph in 15 seconds, hell no C with any amount of mods will go 175 in 15 seconds. I was running both my C(790whp) and SLS(700whp), both of which are supercharged at a 1/2 mile airstrip event this weekend and my C was only going 158 in about 15 seconds and my SLS was only doing 169 in about 14 seconds.

I ran my 790whp Weistec Supercharged C BS in the Michigan Mile last year and went 314KmPH/194mph and it took well over 20 seconds. I will look on You Tube for the video.

A tune and header only C63 would take probably close to 30 seconds to run a 1/2 mile

What if the road is 30% down hill grade and run in a vaccum?
And start timing at 100 mph???

I could not find the video of my car at the Michigan Mile but I beat this GT-R, he took 4th place and I took 3rd. In this video he goes 302KmPH which is about 187mph and it took him about 26 seconds from start cones to finish cones. So no way is a tune only C63 doing it in 20ish seconds.
