Actually no 'blip' is better
The 'blip' actually raises engine speed > tranny
More noise and compression braking

In a perfect system they match perfectly
Not dramatic
Look at some F1 car telemetry

A proper blip is done after the deactivation of the clutch element going off and the actuation of the clutch element being activated. It's the auto version of double clutching, where the input shaft is blipped with the gearbox in idle and then quickly shifted while the input and output shafts are still synchronized. Just randomly revving the engine while shifting doesn't do anything.

The AMG blip programming involves careful handshaking between ECU and TCU. I don't know what the tuners do for certain, but some posted videos sound like they just rev the engine while the transmission independently downshifts. That's NOT the same thing.

It is not the same thing. How could you possibly modify the tcu through the ecu? Doesn't make sense... People need to use some common sense and put their ears to the ground. Weistec and renntech are legit blips that the TRANSMISSION is matching the rev. Eurocharged is a false trick of the throttle body giving you an illusion of "a" blip.

And, I'm not gonna get into the actual bs of the "stories"

If you read my post, at no point did I say Eurocharged throttle blip was a part of their ECU tune.

Once again, Ralf who created the throttle blip software flew to the states to work with Weistec and Eurocharged to get them the throttle blip which is a modification of the TCU.

Renntech's throttle blip TCU upgrade is the same as the one offered by Eurocharged which was created by Ralf.

Maybe Eurocharged can chime in and let me know if my facts are incorrect.

So quarter mile tune vs tune no performance parts added who would you say rips the competitor?

That is a really difficult question. There's more to it, than just a tune vs tune. You can have the best tune and have the worst time. It all depends on how good of a driver you are. Both are great tunes. Both, are great companies. You won't be dissatisfied either way. But, IMO if your gonna go tune only. OE hands down. Jeremy is also a class act and really knows what he's doing when it comes to the c63 and he won't push you to buy nothing. He let's the product speak for itself. Kudos to Jeremy!

Weistec is another great option... But you need to mail in your ecu and if you constantly want to change mods then you have to resend the ecu again... Which is a PITA! Weistec has also some of the best customer service I've ever experienced! Great group of guys there! For instance I had a idler pulley that didn't fit my car. Steve and Sean were on top of the situation the whole time!

Just pick a company your comfortable with and go from there.

Is there a way that can read 507/BS ECU and write it to a normal C63?

my question is, why go renntech when other tuners are out there providing a very similarly powered tune? their price is ridiculous. Am i missing something?

It's like paying for brembo brakes, sure there a big time player in the game, but there are other bbk kits that perform very close to their level. and for ALOT less.
