People keep getting denied by Mercedes to take over the lease.... Anyone interested in purchasing the car outright? $65,000!

MBFS made the mistake of sending me a survey asking about my experience with their company.... I almost feel sorry for all the customer service agents I've spoke with over the last few weeks. How the hell can MBFS deny an applicant on my lease takeover when their credit score is better than mine, they have less debt than I do AND they got approved to lease a new C63 with a higher price tag? Thats not customer service, thats customer rape. So frustrated!

It's business unfortunately
They have you under contract
If the other guy really wants one they have one for him too

If they transfer they have 1 lease, which they already have
If they get him a new one they have 2
2 > 1 lol so what's in it for MB?
It's about the numbers not favors
Capitalism does have some small personal downsides

I was denied on a lease take over through MBFS with credit score of 820+, 0 debt, and a great salary. Ended up receiving a letter with the reason line blank, I called them up and they basically offered me to work with a dealer to lease a new one. I already had my 507 on order and took delivery the same day it showed up.

OC6.3AMG, great numbers but do you have a credit card, most companies like to see some relationship with credit cards, you buy, you pay off on a timely basis. Also some debt is actually good as that show them a history of usage and compliance. Had a small issue when my son was buying a Cadillac CTS, his second Cad and they refused him even though his first was through the same bank with the car paid in full two years prior to this purchase, what it came down to was he had no debt or did not have any credit cards, other than the paid off loan for the first caddy and worked for the same company for 5 years. They finally resigned him after some intervention from Dad, 2.9% for 36 months, my bank wanted 10% "for me" ha ha.

So after 5 declined potential lease takeovers, I am now switching gears to sell the car. I will be taking it to Mercedes on monday to see what they offer me for it. If anyone would be interested in purchasing the car, PM me an offer. Id like to have sold the car by this upcoming friday. Lets see what y'all can do!

This thread makes me glad I didn't lease. And I'll be reluctant to try it in the future. I always thought it would be easy to just transfer the lease if I got tired of the car or just wanted to get out of the car early. That's clearly not the case. Sorry for your troubles but I appreciate this valuable information.

Why wouldn't his check clear? Isn't that a certified/cashier's check from his bank?
Glad you found a buyer

Yeah it is a cashiers check from Bank of America, so I imagine it will clear. I was just a little thrown off by him transferring money from China to buy the car.
