C63 507- take over my lease- CHEAP!
I am looking to get out of my C63 lease and was hoping to find another enthusiast to take it over! I will be using a website like swap a lease, but thought I would offer it up here first. Looking to get out of it asap.
My car is a white 2014 C63 507 edition sedan with only 5,900 miles! 2 tone black/white interior. The only options on the car are AMG illuminated door sills and the headlight package- $73k sticker when new. Mods are a Eurocharged dyno tune by Eurocharged DC (will include handheld programmer if someone from the forum takes over the lease), 35% window tint and K&N drop in filters.
I signed a 4 year lease with 10,000 miles per year back in january, so there are still 41 months left in my lease. My monthly lease payment is a measly $867.56 per month. I put way to much money down to keep my payments low and now that I need out of it I am taking a huge loss
So here is the deal: You can take over my lease and have absurdly cheap lease payments for an awesome Benz. I will even pay all of the transfer fees and have the car detailed before you pick it up!
Who's interested?
Decided to not charge a downpayment in order to move this process along! I will also pay all fees associated with the transfer paperwork! Lets make a deal!

Take it to Carmax and see if they'll buy it. You have equity in it from the downpayment so if it is possible to outright sell it and pay off the residual go that route instead. You might even get more than $3K back.

I wish man. It was a $75,515 car and my payoff amount is like $67k because all of my downpayment seems to have gone to dumb ****. When I signed the paperwork, the total shown was $80k and I put down 12k. So really I guess I paid like $3k toward lowering my payments? Who knows. I forgot to mention that I paid for prepaid maintenance, so hopefully that carries over to the next owner.

Mind explaining how a $75K car turned into a $80K car? Was there a trade in involved? Put it on CL, I'm sure you'll find someone in no time. Transfer fee is about $750 on Mercedes lease takeover, so you may wanna take the hit and "offer" that to potential buyers, so you end up pocketing $2250.

Wow, such a great deal here. Wish i could give in my C-350 for this and take you up on your proposition. For those monthly payments, and a 507 Edition C63 it sure is a steal. Good luck, and hope she finds a good home!

I know this has nothing to do with the sale, but how do you like the Eurocharged V5 tune on your 507? Im debating weather or not to buy one for my 507...Thanks!
Good Luck with sale btw! Great price!

That's exactly what I'd like to pick up, if you can find out that that prepaid maintenance will transfer to the next owner I will be very interested.
Thanks,

Thanks for the responses guys! Lots to respond to....
I got an unbelievable deal on a boat that I couldn't pass up. If I wanted to turn around and sell it I could pocked $10-13k..... Anywho, I need a tow vehicle. Like now.
Had to make my payments manageable.... I so regret it now.
Taxes, acquisition fee to get it moved to my dealer from one in pittsburgh and the prepaid maintenance package.
You're right!
Thanks!!
Residual is $38,383.80
Dude the Eurocharged tune is amazing! Anyone driving a C63 without the tune needs to fix this asap. Not so much for the power added, but the trans remap.
Ill ask tomorrow! Thanks!

I bought a 2012 from a private party in another state. He had purchased the first two maintenance jobs but only used one. When I took it in to my local dealer for the next scheduled maintenance, they were able to identify the prior owners deal before I even asked about it, and it covered the full cost. It was totally painless.

Truecar says I can buy a brand new one for as little as $69,500 on an MSRP of $75,000 but your lease buydown is an amazing deal for someone who wants that particular car.

I think most major manufacturers (especially "luxury" brands) allow transfer of prepaid maintenance and extended warranty. Makes sense from a consumer point of view. Should be easy to find out.

God damm, you got taken. I hope you can sell it on your terms.. Doesn't seem likely though. Thats a sweet car and I would have taken it off your hands for a li'l lower monthly. The residual is on the higher side too.. considering what all you already put into it.
God damm, you got taken for a joy ride.

Rule number 1 when buying a new car or leasing for that matter, The "sticker price" is the MSRP-(Manufacturers "SUGGESTED" retail price) and not to be confused with what they will accept during the dealing process, you offer they either accept or deny.
Rule 2 never trust a car salesman, you make the offer and he must go to the manager, who will come back with his price, do not be afraid to just go up a few hundred dollars and resubmit your offer. Play the game.

Find invoice and incentives on Edmunds.
Locate your ideal vehicle online.
Contact several dealers in that/your area (dealer trades are quick and easy, most of the time) via email, spelling out your terms (final price/cash offer minus incentives, known lease/finance rates, etc). At least one will bite (and you'll be dealing with the internet manager, someone who sells cars this way all day).
Make a small deposit via CC so that your car isn't sold out from under you.
I buy all my cars/trucks this way. In and out of the dealer in about an hour (sometimes 2). No back and forth bs.
OP, GLWS.

Rather than dealing with a salesman, this is what you do;

Much less painful than actually going to the dealer. Did everything from the comfort of my office.
